One of the biggest strengths of this manga is how good it is portraying how alien Ginko's mindset it. And making it feel believable and perfectly logical.

I have a theory.

The real reason why there is clause of not killing humans are partly because of the war as mentioned before. However there is a reason why the war happened, this might lead to the reason. Ginko is incompatible with this world denizens is multiple layers, she doesn’t have a shred of mana thus making her immune to monsterisation, her logic is pretty suicidal that also doesn’t care who her enemy is as long as she can take them down (or herself) fair and square.

I think the reason they ban on killing humans are probably equivalent of EXP addiction. But we don’t have anything confirming it yet so I will refrain from making further speculation.

Like Ginko's determination to kill, Tiger Hero's desire to see Ginko's strenght, the hollowness of the (possessed?) soldier...

Apparently the OG was Mushoku Tensei, and the point was to explore second chances and character development of truly awful people, making him the main character.

Also wish fulfillment. Also light reading, not too complicated but with no qualms to the ugliness of people.

Ikr? It was weird the tiger had this "I have to see her true form" epiphany. In my opinion, there's nothing more to her: what he saw it's all she is. Maybe he has to listen about her desire to have a "fighting honourable death".

Could also just be a societal expectation and reality. There is technically nothing stopping them from killing each other, but demons and monsters remain so prominent that they just don't have time to even try, not unless they want to get overrun if they make the attempt.

Ironically, I've seen more attempts to dismantle slavery from fantasy manga that DON'T have any isekais, who would be with modern morals.
