This is the first area! It is known as Popstar Plains, and is based on the Kirby series. The grass is green, almost cyan, and the trees are all full of star shaped leaves! Here you meet the first two major characters, Mr Kipz and Lowfyie, the terrifying ZALTYS! What's a Zaltys? Well... It's important you know the overarching theme of the mini bosses!
A Zaltys is a mythological creature, a snake that begets fertility. The four sprouts on Lowfyie's head are a reference to, of course, YOTSUBA!
Now for the other secret bosses, who are ALSO all based on Mythological Creatures!
Lowfyie I explained,
Athayanezant is based on a succubus, who has lost all her power! To beat her, you have to gradually let her gain power from you, by losing portions of your maximum HP. At the end of the battle, she is restored to true beauty by Lowfyie's healing magic.
Sahkuh is... Well, duh, DRACULA! A cool and kickass vampire, with all the campy stuff too. If you donate to Sahkuh's blood drive in Popstar Plains, you won't have to worry too much about them later.
Chomosuke, who I decided would be annoying dog (originally Megumin, but I decided that Megumin was a bit too weird to have doing those shenanigans. I wanted to represent the fact that most of the site emotes are Megumin) is obviously based on Black Cats and their folk lore.
K. Angel is a reverse Jorogumo. Jorogumo usually turn from attractive woman into spider, to lure and eat male victims. However, I reversed it for K. Angel, who is now normally a spider (and uses a computer as a shell) and will emerge as a beautiful woman to KILL YOU!
