Inconsistencies with the whole plot. First chapters said he couldn't remember anything from his previous life, and now he ends up giving common sense tips for the party from his past life. Yet another author that can't stick to the script. I'll stick around, but the bar is lowering.

I'm surprised there are still people bringing this up about their appearance not matching their young age.
This has already been the case from the first chapter. MC and FC already look like teenagers from the start.
It's more likely the case of the artist not having the experience to draw children.
There are a lot of cases in non mainstream, low budget manga where artists could not draw children and drew adult with a shrunken size instead.
You defaulting to anime logic shows more about you. Get filtered, tourists.
What the fuck do you mean tourists? I've read plenty of obscure series where the artist knew how to draw a child, so what's your point? Don't speak like it's an acceptable part of the culture to not know how to fucking draw.

Real fucking "It's not a real movie unless it's black and white" energy coming from your ass.
People like you are why I am afraid to bring up mangas when talking to anyone.

Oh joy, translating into the 3rd person. We totally speak that way in English.
This idea of remaining true to Japanese's omission of pronouns when translating is so ass.
It's not even localization, it's making the text conducive to an actual English reader.

I respect your opinion.

There are tons here who has not gotten the anime logic yet.

Or maybe they're just tourists.

I wonder why they would be posting here? Its not like the TL can do anything about it. Any alterations made by the TL will just be wrong to do.

If people have a problem with it, just remember: Anime logic.

Or contact the author directly. Good luck on that then.

I for one am just thankful that the TLer is sticking to the source and not "localizing" things.

Considering the scourge that is "official localizers" on official channels, I'm quite happy with someone just TLing things straight.
Theres "lol anime tourists" then theres "hang on, what sense does that make?" Mangaka arent faultless paragons of story telling m'dude. Unless you're one of those weirdos who thinks we arent allowed to critique things.

Of course Authors/Mangaka/Whoever made the plot ain't faultless paragons. There certainly are creators that I have vehement disagreements with personally. For example, MHA's Bakugo su*cide baiting and basically having it white washed later on because of how they wanted the story to go. Or Rental Girlfriend. That series... just icks me even as a girl.

There are also works that I pick up, realize it ain't my cup of tea, and just quietly drop it and look for one that is more my taste/speed.

Are they free to critique them? Of course they are. However, such things are better done through somewhere the creator would have a chance of seeing it. Some discussion board in a manga piracy site ain't such a venue where they'll see it tho.

Also, I am perceiving a sense of disassociation with some of the people who express their stuff here to the medium as a whole.

This is a media where you have ridiculous things exist without fanfare and is to be considered "expected" or "normal". 800 year old vampires who have a child's body, teens that have a better body than adult super models, the denseness of a blackhole when it comes to romantic things being expressed through a MC....

Don't even get me started on Horse Girls, Giant Mechas, Child Detectives, Reincarnating in another world where you acquire cheat-like abilities nilly willy, Cyberpunk dystopias where there is no "black and white" but just shades of grey and trying to keep those close to you safe....

A media where anything and everything is possible... and they are hanged up on how children doesn't look like children.

So I'm in either the mind of people really making a mountain out of a mole hill... or they're tourists.

I guess it doesn't really matter at the end? I could just ignore them. I most likely should just ignore them tbh. I myself most likely are making a mountain out of a mole hill on this thing.

So I'm a hypocrite. I'll work on that.

A lot more than I can say for others, but what can you do?

I should thank you tho. Made me realize that I am being a bit of a hypocrite myself on it. I'll just move on with it.

Thank you!

Our comments will never reach the mangaka, I agree. But the comment section exists nevertheless, it's where the community engages with eachother.
We're just commenting on what we like and what we don't like, that's what this whole part of the site exists for.
I won't get into specifics because that's not what this comment is about, but for me and many others here the dichotomy between the characters' age, their appearence and their actions is an interesting and valid point for discussion.
Engaging in the conversation or brushing it aside and moving on are both valid responses. Calling people tourists for having interest in talking about a specific point of contengency in this specific work is what I feel like is not valid.

Imagine using a join date on a piracy site to measure one's "seniority/veterancy" in a medium.
