it kinda get axed the author have other manga that he is focusing on and the manga was not that much of a hit to keep it going for more and he decided to end the story like this(maybe we will get an extra chapter where we see what happens with them later)

The sex is not explicit(you don´t see them even kissing) but it is cristal clear that happened because she stays human and she appears the morning oh her birthday on the bed without clothes. Later, they live together with an adopted black cat. The author was very cautious about showing too much carnal affection because of the age gap. However, it is very clear that they will have a romantic and lasting relationship which will be more "normal" as years keep passing.
