All things considered, I really wish the translator could have embraced the term "Potato Lady". I understand an official translation is going with 'Bumpkin' , which is even worse. What's wrong with potato lady?

Ours is supposed to be pronounced how the katakana sounds out, hence whey they named theirs "Dunk." It's similar, so ours would rhyme with the French word for white, "blanc" BUT emphasis on the hard C at the end.

For obvious reasons I didn't pick the letter K 😂😂

Thank you for translating to the end! I totally agree that the localized title is an utter fail. I'm not complaining about the shortening, that makes sense, it's the "bumpkin" part. A quick thesaurus search brought up so many better options, frumpy, outdated, tacky. Bumpkin makes it sound like it is a manners/education issue rather than the clothing (sigh).

For an extended version, you'll have to read the novels. Read it from Vol 3 onwards.
