i think the "short while" was refering to the "non-intrusive" part and not the duration of the ad camaign itself.

You do you top G, you should also open 3 tabs each time, to Impression maxing like a true good boy.

Desktop has been without an ad provider for several weeks now, hopefully someone steps up and buys an ad.
I can't as I clicked GET STARTED on the ad page and it does nothing, just opens a new tab.

2025-10-05: We didn't expect the ad banners to get displayed the way they did (they're comically big due to us testing with smaller placeholder banners), and we're working on a rework to make the ads be less annoying in general.

Because is just an image with a link, is not like the ads that you see in other websites that are inserted with a script from a third party platform and they dictate what to show in the website, ad blockers don't see a difference to something like your pfp with a link to your profile

I'm confused. Is that ad fake or real? I got interested, clicked on the banner and got on page with download button, but everything is just single big image with nothing there.
