I have been reading the WN a bit today, just to see how the betrayal ends. I'm a bit disappointed on how it ended... It's not really bad but i expected more.

Let's start with Warrena, his party consists of the twins Meg and Bill, Ellie the Saintess, Mimi the Cat girl, Chloe the Guardian Dragon girl, and her attendants Liza and Elsa. These are our main characters.
The main antagonist of part 1 is Patrick. Princess Talyn is just an idiot... You'll see why in the summary below.

So as for the story, all the shit that happened to Warrena is because of Patrick. He is actually a spy who infiltrated from the neighbor country, the Empire. His goal was to get rid of the kingdoms strongest assets, Warrena and Chloe, so they can take the country.
As i said above, Princess Talyn is just an idiot who got seduced and used by him. She never loved Warrena, he was pushed on her by the King, she always found him boring. Anyway thanks to her Patrick succeeded in getting rid of Warrena as we saw in this ch. He gets rid of Chloe just by chance as she leaves the Kingdom on her own to join Warrena. She only cares about him, no one else, not even the Royal family.
Patrick also got rid of the last defense, Warrena's squad which was led by Gil now. The new 2nd in command Sonia betrayed them and they got ambushed and captured.
Here is where it got a bit disappointing, at least for me... Talyn didn't want to listen to the doctors and she lost the baby. But she decided to keep quiet because she was afraid Patrick will leave her if he finds out. One night she goes to his room but overhears him talking to someone. He was planning to launch an attack on the Kingdom now that their main defenses are gone. He then easily persuaded Talyn to join the Empire and be the new Queen. The idiot fell for it ofc...
So Talyn then lured the rest of her family in the dungeon during the attack, and they were all killed down there by Patrick and his soldiers. Talyn was actually happy seeing her sisters get killed, but she didn't know she was next! Patrick then showers her with sweet words only to coldly tell her she will never be a Queen and that he knows she lost the baby. The reason was him, he gave the doctors some kind of abortion pills to give her. As she is shocked he stabs her in the chest with his sword. She curses him until she died. Rip idiot!

So a few days later Warrena gets a a notice that he must come to the Palace by King's order (you can't ignore this or you will become a wanted criminal). The reason stated is that the King died and the 1st Princess the new Ruler wants to make his exile right. He consults his party and decides to go, bringing Ellie, Chloe and Liza with him. When they enter the Palace they notice to much guards and pretty much know something is fishy. In the throne room they find Patrick as the new King. After some back and forth words Warrena easily figures out what is going on... Patrick then gives them an option to join him or to die. Warrena is a bit worried since he basically has to fight alone since Chloe has some kind of pact with the Kingdom which doesn't allow her to fight or harm it's citizens. He decides to fight! Liza defends Ellie who starts praying to cast buffs and heals on Warren as he unleash his Blessing "God of War"! He becomes like a unstoppable killing machine but the side effect is he is losing HP fast. So he mows down all the soldiers and faints...
As he wakes up he finds himself in Ellie's lap. Wondering what happened he looks for Patrick only to see his body splattered on the throne. Chloe tells him the idiot shouted he doesn't care for the Kingdom which broke her pact and she just one shot him with a punch

After that they go to the dungeon to free Gil and his crew, and they find Talyn's body in one of the cells...

And that's it for part 1 of the story. There are 2 more parts, actually 1 and a half... Looks like the author abandoned the WN last year.

Sorry if it's a bit to much but i couldn't skip most of this to give a full picture. If someone who also read the WN finds some mistakes fell free to correct me

Pretty much... Only good thing is that all this "revenge" wasn't that long, this isn't even half of the WN. Maybe it get's better and more interesting after it, but to be honest i didn't care that much after this disappointment to continue reading.

The whole setup doesn’t make any sense.

1. As soon as the baby is born everyone in the kingdom will be able to do the math and figure out that the princess is a cheating slut.
2. Making up a story about the MC dying is a waste of time because lots of people know that he returned alive. An entire knight order returning is something that thousands of people would come out to see. The whole group should have been just killed before they returned.
3. The princess didn’t just betray the MC, she betrayed the will of the king as well, which is treason but somehow it’s not a problem?
4. The king was also ok with a foreign noble impregnating his daughter outside of marriage… why? That would not only be a capital crime and potentially an act of war.

But points 1 and 2 asume a smart and inquisitive population, not one dumbed down by monster threats hunger and probably the sword of a soldier the moment they gossip about the royal family.

Then point 3 requires the king to choose to keep this random knight he sent to die (they were honestly surprised he returned alive) instead of his own pregnant daughter.

Point 4... The noble wasn't openly foreign but a spy working for the enemy country, that's different

Alguns dias depois, Warrena recebe um aviso de que deve comparecer ao Palácio por ordem do Rei (não se pode ignorar isso ou ele se tornará um criminoso procurado). O motivo declarado é que o Rei morreu e a Primeira Princesa, a nova governante, quer reparar seu exílio. Ele consulta seu grupo e decide ir, levando Ellie, Chloe e Liza consigo. Ao entrarem no Palácio, percebem a presença excessiva de guardas e percebem que algo está errado. Na sala do trono, encontram Patrick como o novo Rei. Após algumas palavras, Warrena facilmente entende o que está acontecendo... Patrick então lhes dá a opção de se juntarem a ele ou morrerem. Warrena fica um pouco preocupado, pois basicamente terá que lutar sozinho, já que Chloe tem algum tipo de pacto com o Reino que a impede de lutar ou ferir seus cidadãos. Ele decide lutar! Liza defende Ellie, que começa a rezar para que Warrena receba bênçãos e curas enquanto ele libera sua Bênção "Deus da Guerra"! Ele se torna uma máquina de matar imparável, mas o efeito colateral é que ele perde HP rapidamente. Então ele elimina todos os soldados e desmaia...
Ao acordar, ele se vê no colo de Ellie. Sem entender o que aconteceu, procura por Patrick e encontra seu corpo estraçalhado no trono. Chloe lhe conta que o idiota gritou que não se importava com o Reino, o que quebrou o pacto dela, e que ela simplesmente o nocauteou com um soco.

Depois disso, eles vão até a masmorra para libertar Gil e sua equipe, e encontram o corpo de Talyn em uma das celas...

E isso conclui a parte 1 da história. Há mais duas partes, na verdade uma e meia... Parece que o autor abandonou a web novel no ano passado.

It's confusing on how Asmo still getting "Majesty" and "Highness" wrong after all these years... FFS, a simple google search would've fixed such a mistake. Why not just call the princess "Queen" and the King "Prince" too?

To choose someone else cuz he wasn't of noble blood is one thing but to show such hatred towards someone, sometimes, I tell you, they are weak in making it believable xD But I still read cuz who, knows, it could get better at transferring that "feeling" of betrayal and subsequent retribution.

Yeah, the art was alright (albeit generic as fuck), but the action was terrible. The stuff at the beginning was just a series of disjointed panels that made it impossible to tell what was really going on, and the bandit part was just dumb af. I can't stand when an author/artist try to show a character's "strength" by having them get stabbed with no effect. That doesn't show that he's strong, it shows that he's retarded enough to not even try to avoid a blow from an axe.

And what's the logic behind that? If somebody with more combat skill were to swing that axe would it have hurt him, or is he just invincible? That dude looked pretty physically strong, so why was he completely unscathed? Does combat training in this universe make your skin physically tougher or some shit?

That said the writing's also utter garbage here lol, even worse than most of the titles in this genre, so I'm not gonna bother sticking around to see if any of that shit gets explained (I suspect not, it seems like the author's just shit at writing).
