PETA doesn't care about the wellbeing of animals. They've killed an indeterminate amount of them in their shelters, and have literally stolen people's pets off their porches, lawns, etc. and put them down.
Legitimately evil organization masquerading as compassionate, an actual cult. Also, there's no doubt in my mind that they're 100% engaging in money laundering.
