I have heard his popularity is unnatural from light novel readers. I don't know all the details, but its why he was reincarnated and given skills in the first place, also he is apparently also legitimately cursed, the loli's are not by chance, they are to keep him from dating.it explains so much why i got confused when i read it all. i tend to just dive in and read it.
and is it just me or is he too popular in spite of his skills?
you mean Satou? Since LN hasn't concluded yet, I will pick the one from WNit explains so much why i got confused when i read it all. i tend to just dive in and read it.

I won't deny that, many animes/magnas are like that, but for Death March, many events happened in just a few day, for example, day 1 Satou arrives at Seiryu City, day 2 Satous goes on a date with Zena, then the labyrinth incident. I can't remember how many days Satou spent in the labyrinth, but it shouldn't be more than 2 days since people are still moving fine, all of that took 2 volumes, in other words, 2 volumes, and it hasn't even been a week has passed in the series, and many of the events after that too, even though it seems long but in reallity it goes on for just a few daysTimelines are weird in anime. Apparently, in One Piece for example, the journey from Reverse Mountain all the way to Sabaody Archipelago on the opposite side of the world took mere months for the Straw Hats, while other pirate crews (like the Rumbar Pirates) spent multiple years in Paradise and barely made it halfway.
I agree that the two months stated in this chapter seems hella short, but it's a problem that a lot of manga/anime face. No clue why, lol
I forgot which chapter but the manga did do a flashback/shadowing of his popularity.you mean Satou? Since LN hasn't concluded yet, I will pick the one from WN
Satou was blessed/cursed by the dragon god who summoned him to this world so that the lolis are attracted to him (not in a romantic way, ofc) even tho Satou himself prefers adult women (Zena or Karina) and milf type (hotel manager in the early chapter)

you mean the scene of the kagura dance flashback during Torii Gate discovery on ch 28? then no, it's not about Satou's popularity, it's essentially the reason why Satou was summoned here, Dragon god will explain furture at the end of the series.I forgot which chapter but the manga did do a flashback/shadowing of his popularity.
I think it was when the party found the massive fallen torii gates.
They're available elsewhere, and most importantly: 101-105 have Official Translations.a reminder, there is a chapter gap

Yeah I found the official, and got to say, so happy to read non official. Pochi adds sir to the end of every sentence for some reason. And in general the dialog felt just off. They're available elsewhere, and most importantly: 101-105 have Official Translations.
Don't ask scanlators to do chapters which already have official translations and have them be published here.
