I think the manga was about being in an art slump and thinking everything is wrong with yourself instead of taking a step back and realizing you're just in the wrong mindset at the time, the worst she got the darker her art became until it was just dark blobs but then the other girl came and gave her hope, gave her light both literally in that she's seen light through the hole in her apron and figured something out from it and figuratively, the light is hope, she's gotten hope back which will give light to her art againSo the ending is that the encounter that she had with the Yankee ish girl helped solve her issue with her drawing after all this time or what?
I think she was in such a depressive funk that her literal vision was darkening. That made her see shadows that weren't there, shading far more than what was in reality. So the ending is that the encounter that she had with the Yankee ish girl helped solve her issue with her drawing after all this time or what?
GL tag should be removed
If not for the GL tag, I wouldn't have found this amazing oneshotmaybe if it became a series she'd get with the gyaru but yeah maybe they added it outta habit b/c of who the artist is
They line in a small town, so with conservative values they would assume that someone with trendy and non conservative traits would beSince when is having blonde hair and piercings equaling to be a youtuber?![]()
The girl reminded the MC of her fundamental freedom—that it was ultimately her choice to tackle those struggles by pursuing art. MC was feeling trapped by her worries because she forgot why she was doing art in the first place, and by getting to seriously consider the prospect of quitting it and pursuing a different path, she rediscovered the sense of control and responsibility over her life that she lost, and gained the ability to do what she truly wanted again. So the ending is that the encounter that she had with the Yankee ish girl helped solve her issue with her drawing after all this time or what?
If life was actually a race, we'd only need the winners to survive to have a thriving society. But if you actually look outside you'll understand that everyone is needed, everyone can contribute, and intellectual diversity is the most important thing to value. I think this is a point the author believes in too; while the MC doesn't like to recognize it, she does have a special skill (sees well in the dark), and that talent causes her to have unique properties or "flaws" in her art, giving it a different appeal which both the Youtuber and the popular girl were able to recognize. It's definitely something she can leverage in the future to make interesting art once she gains a grasp of the usual conventions—"You should know the rules before you break them" and all that. But she's definitely not a loser; if she gets the right help and puts in the work she could become incredible in her own right. All I got out of that tortoise and hare analogy is neither stops
