While trying to label her a criminal is extreme, her coworkers ostracizing her is warranted. She's not the worst of the 3 individuals but she still deserves to be punished for her actions. No. If you look at chapter 8, page 19, in the bottom panel, you see a grill built into the table. So, the one in that specific news story, is a KBBQ style, grill your own meat BBQ restaurant. Starry Sky appears to be /another/ famous place their clan "owns". Maybe there are just a bunch of restaurant stories/special interest stories for their newscasts. And even in the real world, it's hard to know all the "famous" restaurants. A ton of those places are famous just for having a famous chef. So you can totally have a famous Burger restaurant.

exactly, Karen is just being compassionate as it looked like a similar situation to hers
receptionist indeed has to face consequences but it is also a chance for her to learn and be better, for sure she aint ever doing that again

From comments that I read the mc ex Kaori becomes the 3rd love Love interest and is apart of Karen's the first Love interest party and the three Love interest are friends the ex even gets mad at a group that she over hear's bad mouthing the mc and in the past Kaori was the first person to be kind to the mc. the only ones that gets a big punished to the point were their life are ruined are the anti adventures part of the government and Katsuki, after Katsuki started cheating on Kaori with a other woman the woman he was cheating with frames Katsuki for raped and by the end he is a homeless adventureer hating hobo that's blames the mc for everything, Kaori also haves a redemption arc and she remember's the reason she started to fall in love with the mc, and other characters also gets redemption's, Katsuki on the other hand just keeps on doubling down and keeps blaming everything on the mc and all other adventureer's

At the very most, she abused her employment position, and that led to a disciplinary dismissal. The reason her bosses called her a criminal, was because of what her actions are going to result for Japan as a whole. They're not saying she literally broke the law, because she hasn't. What's weird is that Katsuki wasn't shit canned as well. He also abused his position, used the restricted terminal for his own personal business. That's equally as bad as her. And unlike her, who says she's not smart, he should be smart enough to realize how big a transgression he's committed. And yet, he only got demoted and forced back 3-5 years in his career progression.

Unless you're going off of information in the WN, the manga doesn't show her doing any of this for entertainment (And in this version she might have totally different motivations than in the WN). Shimizu Mizuki has only shown up in 2 chapters so far, 2 and 9. From what we've been shown so far, she didn't set up MC's ex with another employee for entertainment, she can honestly believe that the Higher level employee is a better boyfriend, than the nobody MC. And the manga doesn't show her covering for Nomura either. Saruwatari and the male employee are the only ones that make an appearance in chapter 5. The unknown Male employee is the one that implies he knows about covering stuff up, not Saruwatari.

Being disrespectful isn't against the law. It makes her a bad employee, which again, isn't against the law. And it's not like she forced Kaori to date him. She personally made a shitty choice to cheat.
