You know... the way they used to erase the tattoos was actually very smart, Kiriha pointing out the various methods and selecting the one more appropriate for them to use was a really cool moment.

It completely removes the tension from the story. Some deaths are necessary to create that sense of fear when we’re following a fight.


It depends on what you consider “rape.” There are some countries where simply touching a person’s intimate parts without their consent is already considered rape. Now, if your concern is whether Sunao is still a virgin, I understand that she is (or not, if you ignore the “thigh sex” warnings with Kazuya).. To make a tattoo there, the Curse Ally used his hand, not his “thing.”

I do agree that the deaths are necessary. It would be so good if Ouhi stayed dead, but, god, I'm conflicted; I really like her and so do many others, which makes her staying dead more impactful. I won't really be mad if they revive her, but it would be nice if she stayed dead. If they at least only have Ouna survive, that would be enough, I think.

I said this once somewhere else but it is odd that Tsugumomo never got into any trouble with these scenes, while Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs has some controversy despite being waaaay more tamed in comparison.

Some of these students (specifically that male one towards the end) seem dead for good so there is permadeath, just not of the waifu tsukumogami variety.

I've always seen and perpetrated the meme of "it should have been me" with careless and reckless abandon. Never once ACTUALLY really wanting it to be me but ... this chapter stings dammit. I think the author and I have a very different definition of what a thigh is. Must be a language issue, surely.
Also it seems like Ouhi will be revived in some form, not sure how I feel about that. On the one hand, cool she's a good character. On the other hand we were baited into "knowing" she was going to die like over a year ago only for her to be brought back like 2-3 chapters later?
Author "fake outs" have always rubbed me the wrong way. Like either kill the character or don't that's your right as the author but then going back and changing the outcome feels like a cheap trick.

I also like how Kazuya and Kiriha used their heads to save Sunao shows that they are both smart

Shinobu may have been the perfect tool for it... but if it was Kazuya of the past, this would be WAY over his level of skill.

The patience, the control, everything about the process was something that needed a LOT of finesse.

But I will point out... chances are that whatever part Kazuya was missing, and I think there were some, Shinobu herself was covering for, as she is centuries old and fine work is in her nature, but even then, their teamwork is still impressive.

If they had put even a gram more of strength in the "laser" at any moment, they could have easily cut up Sunao like butter.

Haven't watched that video, will give it a search, thanks for the recommendation.

And yeah... I really hope to see Suguru in action, he is one of the few people with the talent that is on par with Kazuya.

Kazuya may have more brute potential, but Suguru clearly is not much behind. He has been absorbing the new techs Kazuya has brought with him, the guy is a true warrior at his core, and his relationship with Ryuugou clearly is one of friendship and mutual respect.

He totally would be able to achieve the "ninth seal".

Yuuna is published in freaking Shonen Jump while Tsugumomo is published in Comic Action, a magazine aimed at adults. Of course they're going to be held to different standards. Just because Hentai exists doesn't mean Precure should have graphic Lesbian sex
