Wasted chapter?I feel it kinda ironic that the spirit complained that: "They just kept going back and forth, 'don't go', 'i'll be okay...', and nothing got done"
And that's literally 80% of this chapter as well. They kept going back and forth, and nothing got done.
Feels like a wasted chapter.![]()
I need a spoiler here for this whole arc.... no all spoiler until this annoying guild master got his karma, please.
Guild master finds out Yuuta is the one that beat the red dragon. He tries to summon him to the guild but MC demands only public space surrounded by other adventures. GM agress but GM is greedy and makes several plans to control MC. But thanks to Sylphi he knows everything and knows to counter the plans.
Day of the meeting MC comes to the guild and GM fails to execute all his plan. In desperation GM signals other adventures to attack MC. Which of course fails. MC fed with GM, who didn't even properly apolgized to him, summons, with the forest spirit help, thorny vines that envelope the whole guild and the people inside. Everyone realises that they picked the wrong side and gets frightened. MC returns to the base with his disciples.
In the time MC is gone guild is in shambles because of the vines and many high rank left town because they fear retaliation from MC. Which results in problems when it comes to gathering materials and all merchants complain to GM. After a while the grand master of the guild comes and punishes GM. When MC returns the grand master apologises to him on behalf of the guild and the GM becomes a criminal slave.
Mann, I know I'm not as selfless as the MC, but if I get especially requested to help someone, only to be treated like the I'm the most evil person and getting death threats, then I would just bail. Really annoying too that the one who did that is supposed to be a "good" person in the story.
Its great that the GM got screwed, but not really satisfying since the adventurers didn't get enough punishment. Should have gotten a sentence too since they tried to kill the mc, manipulated or not
So, children's book level villainy, then? That's too bad.Guild master finds out Yuuta is the one that beat the red dragon. I'm pretty sure he's exaggerating. It's just a vague, non-committal barely-even-warning."That was a very direct death threat."
To be fair, it is about the bestest friend for that adventurer, who was stressed all this time about how to help said bestest friend, and who wants to protect her from being tricked or, worse, getting killed by some doofus who doesn't know right from wrong.Seriously she needs to drop the death threats to him. it is NOT funny. in fact we can see him being depressed about it.
Somehow less frustrating than I expectedGuild master finds out Yuuta is the one that beat the red dragon.
