But i only found the Web novel, translated by soafp (https://soafp.com/dropped/aldos-reincarnation/chapter-1-prologue-2/) And to be completely honest... Its dogshit... Its not a translation quality issue, the story is just a worse version in every way, the MC wasn't depressed because of loss, he was just mildly bored, he didn't want to learn magic to protect anyone, he just though magic was cool, a transcript from the WN summary "His ultimate goal? To master a cheat-like, yet flaw-filled, ultimate magic and engage in stylish, cool battles!".
Looked a bit more into it and it seems the LN only has 3 volumes, the last one released 2 months ago. You can buy it but i don't think its anywhere online

oh a promising start. im glad that the mother actually the one that saved the MC. instead of the MC (still a kid) somehow manage to beat the monster due to hidden power, skill, cheat, etc. its quite rare i think, especially when both parent are still present & actually nice. This make the MC to actually open up to the caring family once again.
