Well shit,seeing how Kunishige didnt want to tell him anything regarding Akemura guess it would make sense he wouldn't know. The first time we learn he was his uncle was when Yura was talking to Akemura himself. Asked Yura if he was behind his brother in laws death.

You know, as much as he says he's not insane, he's still not right in the head (for me at least). While he's not experiencing anything debilitating to his mentality, he's stil clearly being affected by something jostling his brain around.

I feel like he exists as a criticism of the "Us vs Them" mentality that war propaganda puts into people. Y'know, the kind that just coddles an entire race of people as "irredeemable," where simply sharing the same blood with a terrorist meant you, no matter how estranged from the blood, are a terrorist as well. Like the sins of the grandfather still being the sins of the grandson.

As much as I love this series, I hope it ends after defeating the sword master with a great ending instead of dragging for 500 chapters and another arc. Maybe do another series in the same universe for example.

Rakuzaichi folks are undrerground criminals lying deep inside the capital while he’s at the frontline with the descendants of the actual enemy all around. Make sense he chose target that way; and he’s then apprehended immediately after.

I mean, the island invaders seem like a pretty clear nod to WW2 Japan, so yeah. He's essentially saying that was us, the world could have made the same shit arguments about our indoctrinated children back then and wipe us out.

Meh, I wouldn't worry, those kinds of people won't see past the cool swords, plus they have a fantastic ability to miss the point and just read whatever they want into any work (eg the Punisher, Homelander etc). Godd examples of that in these very comment sections.

A lot of things point to this ending soon, but I'm pretty sure that wasn't the original plan. They haven't even introduced all of the swords. Those unfinished chapters may have been a sign the mangaka has had enough.

The Sazanami aren't all that hidden, they literally all live together in a mansion. But I get your point, for some reason I figured the war had been over for a while before he went full nazi, but it may have happened straight after.
