Maybe its just me, or maybe the premise of how his skills work is getting old, but, this felt a little anti-climatic? The best fight in this manga so far was with Civit, and that was so long ago, the other fights, even the one where he actually exhausted himself, didn't feel like they measured up to it. His style generally lacks the tension of chance; the notion that "it'll be REAL bad if things go wrong". That's probably why the Civit fight was so good while this one felt rather lackluster....

It's a fighting style that's difficult to translate (sexily) into visuals. He's essentially limited to surprise/trap attacks. So the "fight" is mostly about deception, misleading, then ending with a final one-shot.

It may help to recognize that he's essentially a weak character (at least against people who are high level). If a high level person snipes him with a ranged attack, then he's dead.

(A lot of readers and anime viewers think that he's OP and invulnerable because he's high level. He's not.)

what are the odds some of them survived this actually? since he did remove the poison debuff before casting berserk onto the paralyzed bodies. while most enemies died to this before, i feel at some point some character with some heavy regeneration, or another supportive passive effect, might just survived this. some of them just falling after coughing up blood just isn't a clear enough death for me.

Maybe, but I thought that the status effects didn't go away until either he removed them himself or the enemy dies.
