Australian?Thank you for the translation! 2026 has flown by, so I definitely get it.
Same here, butI hope we'll see even more Oyome-chan next year
yeahAt this pace, the TLs might be finished when pigs fly
All part of the bearpocalypse currently hitting Japan where they're too hungry to hibernate. Which makes them especially dangerous...Lmao, brought a bear too. Gotta be a weird bear since they are supposed to be hibernating already right?
This chapter is recent (2025)? I recalled the bear attack "intensified" in 2025. Either way this seems to be a touchy subject for a manga since a bunch of people died . And here I thought the boars are getting too many there in japan, they should relocate a bunch of deer and boars to the bear attack area. Some food for them but deer maybe a better animal though, since boars are assholes. All part of the bearpocalypse currently hitting Japan where they're too hungry to hibernate. Still going - I own the next 7 volumes 😹 . It did change names to Kitsune no Oyome-chan and Son because he got her pregnant before Goro and Kogane managed.iirc this manga ended a few years ago (2022?)
So not quite covid then and the quarantine apocalypse had on the deer population hadnt happened yet. I was in Nara in 2018 and the deer were everywhere and I mean everywhere. It makes me wonder then if the forest issue was observed and incorporated as a plot point, or conceived as a plot point based on known woodcraft. This volume came out in 2019, though, so while you saw it happening it wasn't quite full on bearpocalypse yet.
