The difficulty in removing the suit seems like a huge problem. Especially if he's tired after a fight. Not taking the suit off means trapping body oils and salt and ammonia all over his skin. Full body rash.

Yeah, this is questionable at best as armor. Even if it can miraculously stop błades from penetrating, it does nothing for lessening the impact force. What is he even going to use this for, ballet?

What benefit is there for making a fox armor? The hide is small, it's like you're suggesting he makes a fur coat instead of armor, which does not offer protection at all.
