nice one, champ, for sure no one ever said that to me, can't wait for your answer 2 months from now
Nahh, waiting 2 months will be too rude for an unemployed shit-eating troll who's chronically online such as Your-Majesty,
Still, I feel like you're not open-minded enough to change your mind and will defend your opinion like a family heirloom, so why bother answering?

I'm just here to say hello in case you feel lonely like your mom last night

it's a silly trauma to begin with. the repetition of mc rejecting intimacy by distancing himself from the houjo is just dragging the story, it's ch 12 but heavier, houjo never talked about/interacted with his brother, he should know by now houjo is more interested in her friendship urara. maybe the author forgot about ch 9, pony tail admitted she was after his brother but endend up finding mc a nice person, he dealt with it more normally, this was a result with forming a bond with houjo. honestly, ch 16 is just so ??
Personally I like that he doesnt just hand wave his issues away like most mc's do. Trauma doesnt go away with a gentle nudge from others, it sticks to you and likes to come back right when you think you are getting past it. Personally I hope they do more with it, show more of him struggling with it and having to slowly learn how to move despite the trauma.

i get your point, the healing process doesn't happen in a linear and ascending progression, there are slopes, the series my mad fat diary depicts it well, for example. the thing is the trauma in question here is a silly one, the story argument is already a bit weak, which is fine, it's a manga, this one already does the harderst thing, presents charismatic characters, the slopes just add repetiveness and, in my opinion, this foiled attempt to bring complexity to a silly premise just brings the manga down

Fair and valid honestly but to me the fact that its a minor thing makes it a bit realistic in some ways. Sometimes trauma stuff is small and a bit silly honestly. It can make it repetitive and stuff though but idk to me its kinda neat to see.

I try to read this with excitement after seeing the score of 9, but after 3 chapters i dropped it. The mmc don't trust and don't believe girls after traumatized by them but still act flustered red and embarrassed by the fmc in just the opening chapter. I don't get it why the high score with such beta mmc.

I really wanted to like this one, but it's just so shallow. The characters are shallow, the "trauma" is shallow, the connections between characters are shallow. I get people like to just enjoy simple stuff in their off time, but this is just disappointing to read for me.
