Might be a bit unrelated, but have you noticed a pattern? It feels like UK and EU is trying to colonizing the internet like it's 1800 over again  with all the surveillance attempts and censorship efforts lately

I'm not European or American myself, but i can feel how uncomfortable this is already, and we're just getting only a pinch of it elsewhere.
Because they are trying to speed up control with their dying power that's why.

In their fear of a new "Angry 1940's mustache man" appearing, their government overreach and nanny state policies that actively restrict people's liberties are going to create a new "Angry 1940's mustache man."

Stop the misinformation. Titles being removed depict sexual activity between characters that are minors, either in appearance (handled on a case-by-case basis) or confirmed in the dialogue. It's about law and compliance with it. If you jerk it off to little kids, go and do it elsewhere; there are sites that specialise in that.
Hi!

I created an account just so I can call you a complete moron and a fucking tourist. Eat a dick!

original batoto wasn't sold. The guy who ran it just got tired and decided to shut it down one day. That's why there was such a rush to get MD up and running. There was limited time to grab all the series on batoto before it was gone for good.
wasn't he raided?

The relevant section has been in the content policy for a while. However, as a platform with user-provided content, there are things we enforce reactively based on legal complaints received. This is pretty standard operation for platforms with high volume of user-provided content. Ether stated what was affected in the current round, and I will refrain from speculating on things we have not received complaints on.

I'd also like to clear up, to the many people who seem unaware, that MD operates within legal compliance, as should've been made painfully aware by this and previous content removals. Like it or not, this is the only option for the continued existence of the site.
Yeah we here at Mangadex wouldn't want to host anything ilegally, amirite?

This is betrayal. MD finally unmask themselves.

Why should follow a subcountry law while MD can move to operate to another country that have no such laws. Are you guys is finally start moving like CR / F! way and gonna take down pirate site like them according to your keikaku ?

Remember that your base was ancient Batoto replacement. And there was bato.to that was destroyed.

If you can replace Batoto, we can replace you easily.
