I remember seeing a viral post a some years back where somebody found an apartment building was full of woman doing 18+ cam content. Well it was more of an assertion, hard to know what they were streaming exactly. But all their lights went on, in the same/design, around the same time for most nights.

I get what you say and in reality this probably would be a nightmare scenario in reality, but the babing your mom thing is boosted as a joke to make a funny situation reverting the lazy son/daughter trope and contrast that with her vtuber persona. In it's own manga bubble I found both of them very endearing, at least is clear the daughter is doing this on her own volition as an act of love for her mom who had a hard time becoming a widow and chose to give up her dreams to raise her daughter very lovingly. I like them a lot.
