Is there a way to make this part actually visible?

I'm not sure what to call this ui element at the top of the page, but it's not the header.

Is there any way to make this actually visible? I use it a lot. I just kind of blindly poke where I think the full screen button or hamburger are. It's a low key but constant frustration. 😥

Oh, the stuff up above the page? In the reader, when you move between pages, that generally pops up above the top of the window by design, and you can scroll up to get to it. However, if you open up the reader options ('Menu <' on the right) and set 'header hidden' to 'header shown', it'll keep the search bar and hamburger and profile menus visible (though the parts below that still disappear).

assuming you have the default dark mode theme on, I can't exactly help you with the visibility problem

try switching themes by clicking your account profile, theme, and selecting a different theme, see if that helps

Never had that problem, but maybe you can touch in the middle of the screen to make it invisible.

Switching theme was not the solution but it made me wonder if my dark mode extension (Dark Reader) might be causing the issue.

100% the problem.

🤔 I'm pretty unclear why the black background is turning completely transparent, but since MD has a dark mode, I can just disable Dark Reader on this site.
