I assume you mean Tsukihime, which isn't part of the "Fate" franchise(same universe not same series or even timeline), wasn't "professionally" made(Type Moon was still a doujin circle at the time), and it wasn't the first published in the setting either(that would be the LN version of Kara no Kyoukai), so factually off the mark no matter which is the case... but even then, so what?
This reminds me of a time I watched two people-- one of them knew about Tsukihime but not Fate, and the other one knew about Fate and not Tsukihime.

Both of them had to inform the other that the protagonist of the series they weren't familiar with, potentially sodomizes a heroine.

Ah, Jaimini's Box, now that was a huge drama clusterfuck.

And for the most part I agree with the rest. In the big picture, losing a handful of titles isn't a huge problem.

What is a huge problem is:
  • the attitude NamiComi staff has towards the MD user community
  • the hyprocracy of the staff's official communications on the matter
  • the complete lack of transparancy regarding the whole affair
  • the fact that the non-NamiComi MD staff seem to no longer be in control of their own community
  • the fact that they (presumably) caved to UK legal complaints because MD is now a registered business in the UK (when did that happen and why?)
  • and perhaps most importantly, the precedent this sets for the future
To think someone still remembers Jamini's now closed paybox.

Isn't the UK on the war path to just remove anime in general because of their self-righteous leading party?
Is this not basically self-destruction for mangadex?
Especially given that the UK wants to ID check everybody with internet access "for the children"?
Does mangadex want to implode or something?

I have so many questions. Probably none of them will be answered by staff, as they no longer seem to care about the site they are running. Legitimate dystopia timeline we are living in. :fml:

MangaDEX will go legal then go under. It happens every time. Employees are not lawyers after all.

I knew both because I was watching one on Animax and the other on a rip dvd.

Sodomize means Anal Sex, btw.
It's where the defenseless Anus meme comes from.
Might also be the birthplace of "Women with Strong personalities are weak to Anal" comes from

one of the lost animes i'm still searching was one that looked like saint seiya but more bloody and had a red star in the intro watched when i was a kid on VHS

I remember when a group of my friends and I used to go to a net cafe once a week to watch bootleg Dragon Ball Z subs on VHS, back when the DBZ English dubs on Toonami were still years behind Japan.

Apparently, you'll get banned if you post things on @EtherealNeko's profile about the recent PR post. That happened to @Robinisback. Looks like someone got a little butthurt over a little joke.
I just saw this a second ago, seems like ENeko is actively going around banning people, including whoever this @unseenchaos is. It also seems she deleted all the comments on her profile, lmao.Screenshot from 2026-02-23 18-32-31.png
