I interpret pg 4 as Aya flagging that Hikari's kind of done w/ her, which is supported by Hikari's refusal to go save Aya in the novel version of chapter 44.

She goes "Whether in my dreams or in reality, Hikari never blames me". I'm not sure if "blaming her" and "being done with her" are the same thing, but at least they are adjacent to each other, I doubt Hikari can be done with her without blaming her. And if it doesn't come up even in her dreams, I can't really interpret it this way.
I'd say "Hikari broke down" points to something from their last scene together. We didn't see how it ended after Yami's last line, so I'd assume that's what caused Hikari's breakdown.

I think people are confusing hating characters with hating a manga. It’s a very complex manga that utilises complex characters that can seem infuriating, but unlike other manga these characters actually all have a respective purpose.

To be fair, some hate comes from the release schedule that is totally messed up. People see some extra chapter for volume 2 released and treat it as if the manga is doing another flashback.

Apparently they were preparing for commercial volume 2 release, this is where some of those recent extras come from (and there are two more still untranslated). But it's still ridiculous that it took 3 months.
