I get why he's so hesitant. I would be too, and I think on multiple levels he's doing the right thing.

But at the same time, it's like.....we all know where it'll end up, unless the author really wants to fuck with readers. (Or has a wild scheme to pull some clever twist.)
So.

Anyway thanks for the TL

These constraints are what make these kinds of manga interesting for me. Makes you think how the author would go around into overcoming it. There are actual stakes after all. Who would be bold enough to go after their boss as their subordinate and not to mention the daughter of your former boss and trusted friend?

Glad to see actual acknowledgement of how dumb some of this stuff has gotten with the whole charade he's putting up.
Curious where it'll lead to, feels like one route is him resigning to put distance if things don't play out where he can feel content enough to pursue the relationship.
There's a lot of drama and gags that can be done with these positions and conundrums so hopefully this series gets at least a few more volumes. The Author can definitely do some fun storylines based on their other works.

I get that he found himself in said situation because he went to a park one night. Then things escalated in a way that actually felt a little bit inevitable given both their natures. He is kind and thoughtful and that impacted her who felt alone and overwhelmed so from emotional support to feelings developing. I get it.

However, while I appreciate him continuing to not assault her while she is drunk, I would like to see the other side as well. A woman choosing not to assault someone as though men are these sexual beasts. Also, I'm hoping this all culminates with her pretending to be drunk, talking to "Izumi" to confirm things and then it's consensual boom boom time.

thanks for the tl
