2026 GachaDex containment thread

[Angry_Panda]

Interesting seeing how (at the time of writing this) the top rankers are people I have never heard about in the forums.

Maybe REAL gacha players joined in and showed us pretenders how it's really done.

...or maybe those guys have autoclickers cycling on an ad.

Aw, party poopers.

[yogurtman250]

No clue tbh, but that shouldn't happen... we'll investigate about it, so thanks for reporting it

where are the new fake ads.....

[Mangamoz]

They are there, I've seen them while reading manga today.

ah, they're just mixed in with the ones from 2025...
My chainsawman ad got in, so i'm happy with that

All will witness the glory of OL Dex-chan.

having sex chan with dex chan

Mine on the beta was insane luck, but that's been dialed back considerably. It's going to be a significantly heavier grind this year.

gone are the days of spam clicking for dog ningen

[AnonymousContributor]

Well, I must admit you managed to replicate a gacha game: tedious to play, with insane amounts of grinding and with frustrating rolls.

And this one you can't track your seeds. LAMEO

i've been in and out of a manga rut lately, it feels silly to say, but gamifying the experience really brought me back raring to go! i binged manga enough to do a 10 pull without even realising you could click on ads!
i use MD really frequently, but forever reason, this is my first time seeing this (despite forum comments noting it ran before in 2025).
are there any plans to have it be around for good? it doesn't have to be on mangadex, but i had a really fun time, so i'm a little sad that i'm seeing it on the cusp of ending

oh, don't worry, this event will most likely last until the end of April, so you don't have to worry about it ending for now

[CulR]

hmm?

anybody know where I can read more about this event/why it's happening?

Neat the ministry is winning

[BestBoy]

Ah so people are just auto clicking the ads to get coins? I was wondering about that after reading several chapters, updating my follows, and adding a couple ratings only amounted to 3 pulls.

Yeah, the competition is tarnished and null now. Really kills any insentive to even try.

Gacha changes a man

I wonder how they get the ad to change after the auto clicker clicks the ad. Mine stays the same till I refresh the page.

Since last year exploits no longer work, the fastest way I saw of earning points (not every action gives the same amount) is "reading" 1 page chapter manga, of course starting by the longest ones. Alternatively, go for long shounen manga still standing and simply go to the last page and move to the following chapter, there are ways to automate this. Even that way, it'll take forever (damn, collecting Pokemon cards is as hard as Magic ones).

I also remember being able to toggle the fake ads back on for a few updates even after April, so they might do that again.
