I really like Yuzuriha but she's one of the hardest and most complex characters to play as, and I can even barely play as Eltnum, who kinda plays like a melty character (can't imagine why)

Oh, that's the last thing this game is...

The game is originally called "Needy Girl Overdose", because well, she's a Needy Girl who can't do anything by herself and needs her Lover/Producer (P-chan) to make all the decisions for her and for the other part of the name....she overdoses a lot!! A LOT! Her mental health is entirely reliant on her medications which is highly potent drugs which she heavily overdoses on, added with all the different other drugs she takes!!!

In some endings, she kills herself on a stream, in some she commits suicide by jumping of a building and some other few actually most endings are bad endings in different ways.....

It's a game about cute girl doing worst thing, actually....

The trailer seems to indicate it will be anime original. From seeing it, I got a feeling that it's gonna be Idolmasters edgy version.

Yeah, my fear is that we are getting some idol slop anime with a Needy Streamer skin on top. I am not sure if they would dare actually do all of the dark meta-psychological plot points of the OG story.

Would they portray drug abuse/addiction if they're going to be loyal to the game? And if so, would it be for comic relief ("LOL, she's a stoner") or would it be portrayed as a serious problem?

I've never seen an anime or manga that portrays drug use and addiction.

They will tone it down probably but they can't remove it entirely, especially since almost entirety of the game's story revolves around the fact that she's a druggie.......they will not remove it..........if they wanna keep the game's original elements', ofcourse....
