i was checking according to how i assumed you were counting scores in the finale:
messages that receive at least 5 reactions in a 24-hour window give 5 points ONLY

I'm going to be for real that was NOT how I was counting scores in the finale 💔 I barely checked reactions since the extra point rule wasn't in effect. If i did, this game would've gone for a bit longer.

how did you count scores then

If I see "and 2 others" in the reaction place, I just counted from there. In cases where it seemed that a message had 10+ reactions, that's when I checked the score.

that's exactly how i counted, only with checking to see when exactly the 5th reaction was added (if it was added after 24 hours of the message being posted, the message was invalid for points). the result would be the same though

yeah that's the same thing, and how i counted too. even if you were to strictly cutoff a message's reactions after 24 hours of it being posted, the result would be the same since Moz had one +5 and Banana had a few after the game was already over
