So I suppose this confirms that Kusunoki doesn't know that Keisuke actually likes her, and also doesn't seem to suspect it being the case. Going by her thoughts while accepting the invitation to the shrine, anyway.
Keisuke getting hung up on "what if the past repeats itself" is a touch annoying, but is also understandable. Clearly he's not over Hebikawa's rejection of him before, but that stuff takes time, and he's only just starting to move forward where Hebikawa is concerned, anyway--insofar as letting go of the trauma he'd felt from the past once finding out that it meant nothing to her, and focusing instead on what he wants in the future.
Kusunoki being so focused on not hurting Otobe, leaves me wondering when this one-way triangle will be cracked open. It's very much the same setup as the last one Kusunoki experienced in grade school; Boy likes her, Friend likes Boy, she likes both as friends. She's slightly more hip to what's going on, unlike before, except she's still apparently wholly ignorant of the "Boy likes her" component.
The difference being, that Keisuke and Otobe aren't like those two from the past. So expecting them to react the same is understandable from a pattern-recognition standpoint, but it's also not being fair to Otobe and Keisuke as people & as her friends. I hope that Kusunoki opens up to Otobe sooner than later, because that is how she avoids repeating history. This passive wanting to run away from it entirely is only going to make problems all over again.
And she took a step forward in going with Keisuke today, but again--she needs to also talk with Otobe. As her fortune said--she's gotta be honest, even if things don't turn out the way she might want in the short-term.
