Yeah I get this. I remember the hype when the NES came to the US. :fml:
I used to enjoy when a new certain arcade videogames got a new title in an arcade machine, you can't simply get the same feeling on a computer/regular console (even with those alternative boards/remoters). And playing standing is healthier.

By the way, really funny story that happened recently, a user who permanently deleted their account asked us if we could reactivate and restore the account... Uhh, the operation is permanent and you get warned and get asked to confirm multiple times to do it...

There is no salvation from going into the void, once you get out, you're out.

If my nephew and his friends are anything to go by, that upcoming live action Zelda is doomed to fail.

Kids do not care about Zelda, they think it's uncool. One of his friends saw one of my Zelda game boxes, and started making fun of him, so my nephew quickly went:

"THAT'S NOT MINE! THAT'S MY UNCLE'S!! I DON'T PLAY THAT GAY CRAP!!"

The actual dread in his eyes at possibly being seen as a Zelda player.:fml:
Well, most of the market is made up of adults

According to 2025 reports, the average age of a video game player is approximately 41 years old globally
