Nah, family's first my guy. Go ahead, enjoy a good time with your family!
I speedran the whole series in between yesterday and today. I'm sick, all day in bed, and wanted something light to read. Although I tought the series had ended for like, the first 70 chapters.
I think it's the best moment to start reading it tho. Constantine's fight finally happened after like 70 chapters of mentioning him, the 3rd daughter's birth ended succesfully, there's no cliffhangers (kinda). It's a good day.
The only misteries now are: Who betrayed Leon? Why? Why did Constantine know about Rossweise's pregnancy? Who told him? Who's Leon's master and what's he doing now?
I believe that the Empire and the dragons are somewhat allied, as in: The top brass WANT the war to keep the power and silence anyone that may seem a threat, like Leon was. He was too strong AND too good of a person to let him live, so they sent a traitor to silence him before he got any political power. After all, if he had killed Rossweise, he'd had been labeled a hero and would have the support of many.
I also believe that Leon and Ross are somewhat the key to stop the war. Ater all in the first chapters Leon said "No one even remembers why we fight, and just keep killing each other". There's no lack of land or resources either. Him and Ross's marriage, along with their now 3 dragon-human hybrid daughters could end the conflict at once, being the definitive proof that humans and dragons CAN coexist. I also wonder if the hybrids are naturally stronger than the pure bloods. Only time will tell I guess.
