Funny that this can be used for both Owen and Mooyoung

Kinda reminds you that Mooyoung is the youngest trainee so its no surprise shes a little bit Chunnibiyo;

I wonder if she wears an eyepatch to school.

Well I think her ans Sueryon are likely to get on the debut team together, Wonjin mentioned it.

Also there's been a gun pointed at Yoils head all this time, something that can be used to blackmail her.

If you not sure think to this. What was pointed at the roof top? why was it mentioned? And where did Yoil change back into Sanghyun?

There's no small chance her transformation was caught on film, its a small overlooked detail because Mommy Yuyeon said it was a rumour.

But knowing how storytelling works, the locations and small sentences of the characters can have impact. Like clothes wet in drizzle.
I mean I would argue that it was like very late in the night, probably that time depending at past curfew at that point and mostly everyone went home at that time.

But it is possible doe, which why I loved this manhwa so much, many options for this story for its continuation.

And for someone film her, they have to do breaking and entering to the other building just to film han yoil, and its not worth the filming cause there probably just there to film more famous celebrities like Iruha/Lee ruha before she left, but that was just example.

And she probably isn't dumb enough to be exposed that wide in the open just to change gender since it is rumor after all not taking anymore risky chances after gongwon found out.

But who knows this probably might make an even more interesting story then, also Izumi :3.

I feel bad for the teacher, but I feel worse for Dabi.

Yes, the teacher is regretful and knows he fucked up (as so many other times), but just like how trainees are told to improve on their weak points, the teacher should also take a lesson or two in managing students.

I feel bad for Dabi but I love how extra she is about being dramatic.

Dabi is so easy to read.

It's clear she's trying to not be strict I think its ingrained habits, likely how she herself was taught.

Got here late, but I'm still here!

Glad to see Sanghyun's getting over his hangup as Yoil. Well, we've been building up to it, of course, but it's nice to see him gain confidence on himself (specifically on his "self", as this entire arc was how being self-conscious about Yoil's appearance/presentation was causing him to overreact—at least, that's how it felt like to me) and I hope that some of that leaks back to his male persona in some fashion, too.

Interesting note with how miscommunication seems to be recurring theme for this arc, too. Their vocal coach, Mooyoung, the producer that kickstarted it all. "Never being able to convey your message correctly" ties them all together in some way. Fascinating how that also compares with Iruha's arc—the juxtaposition of your public face and your inner face. The persona and the shadow, if I'm recalling Jungian psychology right. Extra fascinating how it all ties back to Sanghyun. I wonder how intentional the analogies are here?

I think its because he's both Yoil and Sanghyun the struggle of being different people but the same was getting to him. In the previous chapter Soae used a technique common in cognitive behaviour therapy to ask Yoil what she liked its gets peopleto think about their own sense of self rather then expectationsof others.

I think until then Sanghyun couldn't identify as Yoil as a person because he was still calling her a shell. But with what Soae said he's now developmed an identity as Yoil, not acting which is what he was doing previously.

Yuri as a character really has grown on me, like Olivia said her personality is awful but it's also super endearing.

Like there's nothing really fake about her she's straight up honest, and although she argues with everyone she constantly concedes. And although she didn't defend Yoil she didn't like how Mooyoung was treating her

It actually made me laugh when she got her own back on Mooyoung this chapter. She's defo better then Sueryon. If Hayan cries there will be blood
Yeah she's one of my favourite characters too. She's actually hilarious.

It'll be even worse when she does debut, if she's so cool around the other trainees, then her popularity would sky rocket so fast.

Han yoil hasnt even debuted yet and she's already being recognize, in social media she probably be at some point be the face of her debut team, or maybe the author has already thought of this and have her fame somewhat similar or mirror Iruha/Lee ruha.

Because if shes way to good as an idol then there would be no struggle or story for her, but that depends on the author.
I think the main struggle in this story is always going to be about identity and self worth. It was basically spelled since chapter 1 that Sanghyun was skilled enough to be an idol but was held back by his appeareance and school record, so ofcourse Yoil is going to be a beast as soon as he/she finishes adapting.

This is pretty much an introspective character driven story, not really an "idol survival tournament" story. Yoil is obviously going to debut, the real questions are with who and with what inner mental state. Also, what will be of Sanghyun.

With how good Yoil looked in this chapter its hard to care about the fact she's also Sanghyun.

A good question is how Yoil is going to deal with male fans if she debuts.

Fans can be really cray cray.
It is a secret that must be kept, I hope Sanghyun doesn't have any more "mishaps" and homeboy Gongwong doesn't rats out, Gongwong seems rational and not a petty person despite his frivolous antics beforehand. Truthfully speaking that was my least favourite chapter in the whole series though it resulted good character development for Sanghyun/Yoil I just hope it doesn't bite back later on.

I hope other his Grandma, IRUHA and Soae no one else ever gets to know his secret.

Its true, thats its not tournament based idol, but i exaggerated her ability from a non perspective, that doesnt divulged into her personal life and others around her.

Story is always been about identity anyway, but sometimes i go to a perspective of outside MC's story and see whats its like not being them.

And is pretty obvious that she's already seen as beautiful to an NPC.

Already at the end of the month evals?! Things are looking too bleak for the main gang. I was already prepared for Hyojeong to get fail, but not Dabi. Lock in girl I beg you 😭
While the story does continue, and it seems the trio, might have a potential fall out, I hope not since its basically they're main characters aside from han yoil.

Theyre too beloved to let go, im sure theres a comeback, i hope so.

Doesn't his grandma already know? She encouraged him to continue with his dream with the new opportunity.

I would like to see him actually see his Grandma as Yoil though, he's had a lot of positive changes since becoming her and I think if he was told that by family it would comfirm for him he chose right.

Yeah grandma is cool with it, no drama there. It's the brother that might cause problems, that confrontation has been cooking since the first chapter. There's a million ways that could go.
Like most of his self esteem issues seem to stem from how his brother(perhaps justifiably) treated him.

From what we've seen of his brother he's still helped support Sanghyun, so I don't think his brothers a bad guy. Obviously some things he said to Sanghyun are harsh, but I having brothers myself I get it, Family if there good will be honest to you.

Though after messing up his initial chances I can understand why he hasn't talked to his brother who payed for him to go to an academy.

I do wonder if his brother knows though, it might be cool for him to meet his brother as Yoil, I can see it going either way, one 'I didn't support you too do this'...or two 'I'm glad all that money wasn't wasted, don't screw up again brat'

Fascinating! On my end, I perceive it more as Yoil being the external, rather literal face for Sanghyun—and with him treating her as a completely separate person, trying to mold his personality into that new shape, he only achieved something detrimental to his sense of self. That Soae just gave Yoil a list of what she did and not what kind of person she thought Yoil was (correctly guessing Kim Sanghyun in the process, but obviously pushing that would be against her point, ha) really helped solidify that sense of self once more, which is the next step on gaining confidence.

...And, perhaps, also just a few many steps on recovering the "old" Sanghyun? The one that had shined before the event that tainted his life?

But I digress. It does make me wonder if a future direction might carry this idea into Sanghyun being more intentional with Yoil as a persona to express a different facet of his whole self, but I admit I wouldn't know how that would manifest.

It is interesting to see Sanghyun has been struggling a lot with his sense of identity and that he can't remember what he used to be like.

Like at the start of this arc he had a proper 12lth night moment, am I a man dressed as a woman dressing as a man; he really doesn't know anymore.

At least we know he's gotten used to being Yoil from his own shock therapy, but its clear intially after being discovered he kept his mind set as a man as to how a woman should look and act, stuck on beliefs and not that fact that personality doesn't have to be defined by gender.
