The ORIGINAL recording of this song, from 1954. In three (Quincy Jones was the first to chart it in four, for Frank's recording), short (though not so short as the 'Fry Me to the Moon' versions from Eva), and with a different title, Kaye Ballard's rendition of In Other Words, better known as Fly Me to the Moon.

And The Pillows (whom I got to see live at Anime Central in 2005), doing Ride On Shooting Star from FLCL. 'Nuff said.

i personally prefer 'Fry Me to the Moon' over this. it's no wonder everyone knows the Sinatra version instead of the original. 6.3/10

8.9/10, now this is a real classic. FLCL wouldn't be half the show it was without The Pillows. i went on a huge binge of their music after watching the series for the first time. my favorite would have to be Funny Bunny, but they have so many hits. an underrated older song of theirs that i've listened to a lot is Good Night:
