Kuwano's talk with him went much better than I feared it might, which, awesome. She called Aoba out on the things that were needing to be called out over, but didn't make him out to be the villain or like he was in the wrong over what's going on between him and Mizudori. And, her being adamant about how Aoba needs to be there for Mizudori because he's uniquely able to understand her is true; and him running away would solve nothing, and only serve to hurt all of them (siblings included).
He'd already resolved to try and talk with Mizudori, but having another push forward isn't a bad thing, given the extra insight he's gained now. Of course, the "best laid plans" will never account for every angle, and it would seem the siblings are going to be taking up the mantle of taking the two of them to task over their stubbornness in this.
It's admirable that they both wish to devote themselves to their families like this, but as Aoba reiterates: even their families didn't want them to sacrifice everything in service to their siblings. Whether or not it's "normal" is irrelevant, but I think it's important that they realize this doesn't have to be a zero-sum situation.
So good on the eavesdropping younger sister who can go and get all three children in the loop (even if in fragmented fashion) so that they can do what kids do best:
scream without a filter and get right to the heart of the matter.
Thanks for the quality TL work and all you've brought to this series thus far.
