Considering the sheer amount of complaints on the seeming tonal whiplash in the prior chapter I think it's pretty clear and has been from a few chapters in this is going to balance various tones. It had a pretty gooner setup but chased it with politics and relationship dynamics from the start. This is pretty much the wrapping up of the first real arc which was meant to be a light hearted affair but seems to be becoming the core of the foundation for the arc of second princess and maybe the overall point of the series.

The setting interestingly makes it relatively refreshing to see gender flipped Feudal, Royal and Aristocratic woes from the bottom all the way up. Our MC is the ultimate outsider in that he has no functional place within the society but is also a cheat card since he's quite literally from a different universe altogether.

Given that it set it's tone well once the sheer violence of the operation started a few chapters back and you get a pretty dire situation on both sides of the battle I like how the tone has been handled. Seeing MC get groped after the last few downer chapters into a relatively optimistic ending it seems pretty clear the author had a plan on where to go.

Very nice chapter, I'm assuming political change is the end goal of the author. Most likely commenting on their view of how rigid structures are in Japan, as it seems most Isekai, fantasy and series in general seem to do to varying degrees of success.

Thanks for the TL and picking it up in general.

Actually, the only thing Faust wants to crush from Astarte's is her pussy and knead her melons (As one should)
Of all the vaginas in camp, Astarte's is likely one of the last that he would smash. Not because of a lack of desire, but because in doing so he would loose his independence.

While you might not mind being made a trophy, Faust wants to make his own way in this world. Otherwise he would have already allowed himself to become a house husband.

Page 9 doesn't seem right. Isn't Helga supposed to be telling Faust's horse (the big one) not to have its way with Princess Valiere's horse, Flugel (the little one)? It's admittedly confusing. There's nothing indicating why Helga mentioned Astarte in the last panel. You would expect some sound effect indicating the approaching forces or a frame of her viewpoint seeing a figures on the horizon. Oh I see it now! There's a tiny exclamation and then her and Faust's horse look in the same direction.

All I want from this manga, is for Faust to crush Astartre's hand as she gropes him.
In our world, a man groping a woman would get their heads crushed, especially if they're on "friendly, good terms". Faust is definitely being too cowardly here.
Did you forget that Faust was about to burst his custom built chastity belt because of how badly he wanted to smash the queen?

Faust already thought that if it wasn't for this world's values, and that a child by Astartes would mean his family's lands get absorbed, he'd absolutely give her the mating press.

Strive for dreams you built the way there. If there is no safety in the immediate future, an alternate path will light up until all, but the truth remains. To honor, to glory.

He also wouldn't care about that if he didn't respect his mom too much to allow that to happen to her lands and people.

Also of note: the absolute guts of Faust's soldiers to openly rebuke someone that is third in line for the throne and someone who is considered a monster for her actions in war.

More like readers have a problem following something that isn’t monotonous and instead vacillates between humor and seriousness.

people forget that manga is a medium to tell stories. And they're not required to be pigeonholed into one genre, even within the same story.

This has been one of the better litmus test manga titles I've come across to gauge the average MD reader's ability to actually parse a story and critically analyze what they're reading. I just wish I could say it was a surprise the last half-dozen chapters have had so many people complaining about Faust not being in every third panel and that "the tone's all wrong".
