It's interesting that if anyone knows how the forest trials work the forest won't appear to them. That means even if someone figures it out they are encouraged to not tell it to others because if everyone knew no one would be able to acquire one.

I'm not sure that everyone would be encouraged to keep it a secret; someone with a king's bough who wishes to prevent others from ever obtaining one themselves might very well decide that it would be in their interest to spread the knowledge of how to overcome the trial.
We've seen a bit and it's not interesting; she just dumps hard work on others while pretending that it comes from greater morals. The longer the MC gets to avoid her, the better. And if he does encounter her, I hope he quickly wraps up the trouble she, and the others, represent.

Probably having a 3some with the fake version of MC/sister/friend while that boy who likes mc's sister is trying to join in while all 3 of them continue to fuck up the place as in killing spirits/ignoring people
the gag of MC doing a ridiculous/op thing and people around him reacting and telling him how ridiculous what he did was is getting a bit tiresome. Its like a crutch the author has.
I keep trying to read this manga hoping it'll get better because i do like the foundations of the story... just not where it headed with him basically having his band of yes men and the "banter" that comes because of it and to be honest im not invested in most of them too.

Yeah, I had this complaint about the "humour" for a long time too... but the 4 cm oath was actually pretty funny. Enjoyable chapter.
