As much as I hate to say it, it would appear that Grapara is the Gal Cleaning for the new generation.

I personally don't think Grapara did anything special to earn such infamy. It's literally just a generic NTR plot.

Based on what I've heard, no. Gal Cleaning was a goofy fluff piece that suddenly made an unexpected hard turn into "here's a side character getting raped as a middle finger to the editor who cancelled me". Grapara can't really claim to have blindsided anyone.
