And I love how excited Gunota gets about the bad guys showing up. And I love that this psycho has his whole island rigged with weapon caches that all you need to do is stomp anywhere and you get something popping up!

I think the weapons cache are all from Gunota, not Avan's planning... That man has a problem, major otaku. Remember a chapter ago he snapped and his entire study transformed into an armory?

As for Avan... If that small montage a chapter ago is to be believed he mastered 100+ weapons in a single night, and wrote his theory of all weapons in a week. Avan is op.

Only Roka... I'm pretty sure in the main series that Leira still alive and totally fine. I think they might even meet her when they first meet Maam and they make a short trip back to village. But I'll be honest I can't recall.
