Oh well must be some japanese thing. MC says breed further resentment with the Posehai, didn't the Posehai not have any problem with the dwarves they were doing this to impress a demon king that doesn't exist? Seems like it would be start new resentment.

Anyway the MC can dress this up with as much sophistry as he wants but at the end of the day he benefits enormously from this that the idea he's doing this out of the goodness of his heart is frankly unbelievable from an outside perspective. Having hundreds of slave doctors that he can exploit as much as he wants sure does sound like something made for his benefit rather than an attempt to redeem these poisonous sacks of shit.

Well i re-read and i don't think they mention WHERE are they going to be doctors and if they're going to be serving disguised as humans or in posehai form, those are the main things.

Yes Mei calling him "master" is jarring to say the least, maybe it's a translation decision?

2nd note, he mentions doing this to stop the cycle of hatred... but if there are no posehai left.. then there can't be hatred left ... time for some good old fashioned ethnic-cleansing i think... and he has the power to do it....

I think Mei is still his slave, I legit don't recall her being freed from it? also Yea Mei and the princess 100% are closer to each other then MC, MC hasn't done anything with either of them at all

MC truly is a hypocrite, he made the proposal to take in the Posehai, but in ch 61 you went full on dark side sith and slaughtered them for what they did to Niza, the Queen, and its people. MC claims to want to break their cycle of revenge, but in ch61 you added to it, especially if a few of the Posehai saw you execute their leaders. Let's not forget to mention MC himself has his own trauma that he hasn't properly gotten over on his own, but with the help of Gon(fox) and Fox god. Remember vengeance breed vengeance, violence breeds violence. Despite MC being a walking contradiction, the only good part this chapter was pg 12, it's about damn time Mei gets some more screen time and love with a side of handholding.

Commits murder and attempted genocide, yet is allowed to roam freely.
Even if you want to say that they are going to be under the watch of the MC, this still feels incredibly wrong.

This isn't like one of those cases where the MC finds someone who feels misguided and looks like they are wasting their talents. These guys have already killed/harmed many people. The damage has already been done, and supposedly letting them rot in prison or executing them is too light of a punishment for them. So, instead they are given the chance to supposedly 'atone' for it by being doctors under his supervision.

.....Are there any real consequences for committing such horrific acts? Yeah, their families might be pissed off, but so what? Their families did the crime and everyone knows it. You do the crime, you face the punishment. That's only fair. Giving them a slap on the wrist might as be betraying the survivors of the victims they killed.

The Manga is still trying to keep the polygamous relationship vague.
I mean, in the Web Novel atleast, it's clearly mentioned that MC treated her like his wife, and both his wives alternately sleeped with MC.

But in the Manga, there is no hint towards MC ever sleeping with Mei yet (though he does sleep with Princess). I mean, she is even asking permission to hold hands with him.
