I don't think she intended to have sex with fuckboi she was looking for comfort and he took advantage of this and she wasn't against because she is in fact attracted to him. It's why I'm certain she is still with him.

Saying it like that makes it sound like excuses and if Sakura said it herself in some chance to explain it would 100% come off as excuses. Like unless you are trying to tell me she is unfit to be in a relationship I still don't think those two things makes multipl levels of action and inaction on her part understandable

We don't even need Sakura to create conflict here. She just needed to say gently, 'He is not a bad person,' and tell them how Shinobu had helped her. It's as simple as that.

I can not see any path for them to get back together that doesn't feel forced ethire. So in saying I can't even see a point of the story continuing.

The only smart thing she did was talk to Shinobu about the hug she was informed about. Why she didn't do that for the kiss is cause she's an idiot and Airi wanted it to stay misunderstood.

Ehh ? From what I know, Sakura asked Shinobu why he was back so late, and he explained that he had gone to help a colleague who had been scammed in a film investment scheme. However, he didn't mention the hug. Sakura knew he had helped his colleague but she had no idea that a hug had taken place afterwards. So, she misunderstood both the hug and kiss and handkerchief. Did she really ask about the hug ?

The point was that they would he excuses from the readers pov, Shinobu pov, even if it came to light with her friends that Shinobu wasn't actually a bad person, the next question they would obviously have is "well why didn't you say something when we were bad mouthing him?" If Sakura just says that she was too afraid or insecure to, would they not see that as excuses? This world doesn't operate through Sakura's pov and people do just act solely on their pov, if they do, they are probably either extremely antisocial or irresponsible.

Sakura lacks the ability to think for herself and only listens to what others say. And sadly, she chooses to listen to people she just met instead of her own boyfriend—the one who was there for her during her hardest times.
