If Airi Katsura (sensei) is stupid, she will write a plot where Sakura secretly dated a fucboy without telling anyone, tricking Mio and Nagi into comforting/soothing her in chapter 133.

So, Sakura completely turned into a true villain. Is that really the direction Airi Kantsura (sensei) want? She wants to kill herself twice from chapter 129, really? LOL

Her demeanor didn't suggest any deceptive intent, she kept it pretty real with Nagi and Mio, I guess if she really was dating fucboi she would tell them not to worry because she's happily moved on with someone else and is doing fine. Ok! Feelings on this have improved a bit, I'll say its 70% she's actually not with fucboi, but still a fair 30% that she is because KA things. Also weirder though because fucboi did tell Shinobu he'll make her happy, maybe it was just to make Shinobu give up then and there ig.

My current feelings are this, if in 134 fucboi X Sakura turn out to be an item and we see no setup for some insane drama within 2~3 chapters, I'll be convinced KA is indeed just trying to spite Kodansha and nuke the success the GraPara! has brought to her career over nothing but pettiness.

If Kodansha can prove actual damages such as the tag "NTR love comedy" but in reality Grapara contains only NTR and no love comedy elements or intentionally harming sales volume, they could sue Airi Katsura (sensei). And it’s not just about winning or losing, her reputation would be shattered and if she lost the case, she’d face massive financial liability for damages on top of that.

Do you think she would risk that? LOL

Nah. To go full villain, she has to go #MeToo and cancel Shinobu once she sees his movie hitting billboards.

The seeds were being sowed tho, she's already painting him as the villain of this cheating boogaloo, the one who cheated on her.

This also very true. I never believed KA is trying to spite Kodansha even though some say she could just fall back onto her doujinshi career with KZ and be set for life (maybe?). Thing is in Asian countries, and especially Japan I believe, reputation is extremely important and KA does not use any alias so people know who she is by now unless she's fine with starting fresh again.

IMHO, she really did it in chapter 129 but the outcome was more than she expected, then the pre-order of volume 13 drops. So, Kodansha met her to threaten and ask for the solution, then she received a second chance. So, the 132 chapter came with Nagi. The old plan was Sakura ended up with fucboy, full sex scences of Shinobu x Fumi in chapter 132-135, then use timeskip on chapter 136-137 and end the series. But Kodansha gave her another chance to continue if she could fix it.

Sakura starts doing AV, Shinobu sees that but knows that the girl he sees in those videos is not truly her, lingering feelings start to come out and he wants to save her, Fumi recognizes this and sacrifices her love for them, Shinobu saves sakura and they live happily ever after. The most predictable route this could go.

This is the romcom cliche thing.

I want to believe this so much and a fair part of me does from what everyone is pointing out in this chapter, but on the other side fucboi's near perfect acting across his interactions with Sakura, helping Sakura find the necklace, the romance shrine charm, protecting her from other actresses harassment things like that make me think otherwise and it sucks even more because all of this is in KA's hands.

Sakura will hide things she is feeling guilty of if she feels guilty being with fuckboi she will hide it and I think that is what she has done here.

The Nagi/Mio segment was certainly underwhelming but maybe there are some takeaway that aren't just us trying to overthink it imo.

I think her biggest mistake is that she didn't understand that Grapara is not a manga for her doujinshi manga public and that major part of the readers are romcom manga fans.So obviously she would be attacked because of real NTR.(many jp forums are saying that they are getting tired of NTR and that is getting excessive in the stories and animes)

I think it's would be better to say she doesn't want people knowing she slept with another man the night she thought shionbu was cheating she is hiding it for sure there is no reason for her not to at least be friends with benefits with fuckboi.

Plot convenience is devious when it works in the opposite direction like that. Welp all this to make the eventual confrontation more dramatic ig.

If she knows she cheated on Shinobu it would be truly within comedic logic to then hook up with the guy you cheated with, but again I'm on the fence if their relationship really is that straightforward.

Well she doesn't have to go into the explicit details, she could've just simply said she found a new lover and is happy with her life as it is. As for the friends with benefits angle, possibility is there, but Sakura doesn't feel like the person to accept that type of thing, yes she gets overwhelmed easily as we see, but under normal circumstance when she can think clearly I believe she'd refuse that type of relationship, so we'll have to see if anything more is shown in 134.

Another thing that strikes me as really odd are the times she's thinking to herself.

No thought of Fuckboi. Even when thinking about going through with the sex scene for a movie.

Only Mio and Nagi came to mind here. If she was in a relationship, shouldn't she have thought of Fuckboi too in that moment? Much like she did with Shinobu even with what happened in the 90's chapters.

The meeting with Shinobu and Fuckboi seemed like it had a purpose behind just letting Shinobu know what happened. I feel like KA was planning something here. It's just the hate for Fuckboi has been so bad that if he never shows up again it only shows that it's a means of damage control. That or waiting for that hate to die down for a time before he comes back as like.. another obstacle.

My friend told me. It's her plan. She know the problematic chapter 129 will be in the last volume (14) and if she ended Grapara badly, the volume 14 sales will be in trouble. So, she planned to use the chapter 132-135 (full sex scenes of Shinobu and Fumi) to compensate it.

The old plan was, we'd not see Sakura in chapter 132 because it's dedicated to the sex scenes to sell the volume 14. But after the plan was changed (with some reasons), she added Sakura and Nagi to chapter 132 and cut the sex scene short to end in chapter 133. My friend told me since chapter 132 that the coming of Nagi and Sakura will create at least another volume (15), not end at volume 14 as formerly planned. Kodansha might do something to her before chapter 132 came out.

Just my friend's assumption, we'll see whether there is really volume 15 (chapter 138-147). It she can't fix the problem, volume 15 will be the last.

I think your friend is just reaching there isn't any damage control if there was there would be delays in the writing which tells me she planned it like this plus Japanese publishers care more about creative freedom than most other companies if this was Korean she would be forced to change things.

I think things feel rushed because she has split the story between shinobu and Sakura now fuckboi would be sakura's point of view in 130 which is why we saw so little of her 132 was showing us where shinobu is now post breakup and time skip with 133 showing him with fumi and bring us back to sakura point in the story I won't be surprised if the next chapter focuses more heavily on sakura since 132 was heavy on shinobu.

Maybe the fuckboi just sees it for what it is? A job offer or an opportunity, maybe that's why sakura doesn't think of him when she thinks about the sex scene
