Riku already knows of his friend's crush on An, and the fact the girls are friends means he has a fellow guy for when they're all together but dragging the boys out too. But it also means he knows when he's asked stuff it isn't necessarily teasing like the others were, and it means he can tell someone too when he wants to that won't take advantage of that.

I think this manga has provided the best solutions to every single romance trope up to now, from firework festivals down to indirect kiss tropes.
It actually feels like a bunch of teens navigating the topics instead of a checklist for the author to complete.

Is this the first chapter we have seen that shunpei has had his face blanked out? Not only was it blanked out once, but in multiple frames throughout the chapter.

Previously we have only see An's face blanked out, but im guessing the author is trying to show that shunpei is changing emotionally too.

Good progress i would say. As they both continue to dance around each other, I expect we will see a lot more blank faces for the both of em.

It feels kinda weird for Shunpei to be losing sleep over Riku and Kanako just kissing. However that's still probably all that happened between them given that the focus of the chapter was on an indirect kiss.
