Adding onto that, the Japanese equivalent of what we call "Furry" in the West is typically "kemono"Kemonomimi doesn't mean furry, it literally means animal ears. It's used for characters with animal ears. duh. It's just that furry also do have animal ears, so they technically fall under this category. But, usually, kemonomimi is used only for non-furry characters that have just animal ears (and tails).
That's true I just gave the closest equivalent for those less familiar with japanese stuff. Also furry does start to become sorta applicable with the next chapter so look forward to that!Kemonomimi doesn't mean furry, it literally means animal ears. that would be pretty damn horrific, unless there's a way to choose how you'll change it would really suck to have your whole identity changed unconsensually. So there's also a rabbit beastman. If it's caused by serious stress I wonder how common bestification is. Considering in Japan has some of the highest suicide rates in the entire world they would have a lot of bestification due to stress and trauma. Also if bestification causes you to become many times stronger than a normal human it would definitely be used in the military for war. There would probably be a tradition where high ranking soldiers would be put through a Non-Stop hell week until they underwent bestification.
I think its pretty clever, they said physical abilities go up and she's wearing ear muffs probably due to her ears.Rabbit beastman or world's largest ribbon 🤔

I think it's because changing gender doesn't change sexuality, it's that changing gender let's them understand their sexuality. While I personally really dislike the "changing your gender changes your sexuality" trope in my genderslop (affectionate), I don't really mind it here for some reason? Maybe it's the cute artstyle, maybe its bc Richou didn't have much time as a guy in the first place, idk.
Regardless, hopefully they expand on Richou's feelings when he was a dude.
I originally was gonna put that, but after rereading chapter 1, there are mentions of Richou wanting to be "popular with girls." Though I suppose there are several ways you can interpret Richou's mindset there, so there's that.I think it's because changing gender doesn't change sexuality, it's that changing gender let's them understand their sexuality.
