All that said, I'm kind of hoping the father is just being misunderstood, and coming on too strong, in an attempt to just help his son. He seems to be legitimately encouraging his son, and pushing him forward in pursuing his goals, despite not really getting it, so it would be cool if he just properly asked MC to help his son rather than trying to strong-arm the MC.
It definitely seems like the parents don't actually support the son but need him to be quiet or move out because he provides nothing so the dad is thinking the biggest streamer in the world is under him so he can nepo baby his son from a worthless nothing into somebody out of his house. He should lose his job and they should struggle with their son's income and terrible content.

Now Q is, will MC actually put up with this bs because dumdum shonen protag moment, or will he do the smart thing and immediately ask the central office to pull out all his money and transfer it to another less idiotic bank or an offshore acc?

^^...

Trying to threaten those who already numb to the dead or alive situation??? Good luck then...
:dogkek:
You're welcome, hope you enjoy it

Yup:kek:
Thanks for the translation.
You're welcome, hope you enjoy this chapter:win:
MC has connections with the top levels of basically every goverment in the world. He could legit request a drone strike on the bank manager and probably get it approved.
Or he could just cast some spell:finnawoke:
Waiting for new chapter is hard, especially when we caught up with official raw. :meguuusad:
Yup, it's gonna take a while:meguuusad:
Thank you for the chapter :salute:
You're welcome, hope you enjoy it:thumbsup:
Thx for the update. I usually don’t mind the monthly releases for this adaptation but this cliff hanger is brutal
You're welcome, hope you enjoy it:thumbsup:
Bro thinks threatening one of the strongest superhumans in the world will go well for him.
"It's such a good idea. What could go wrong?" :kek:

All Furuya needs to say is to withdraw all the money and not use the bank’s services. People will take his word for how popular he is and just watch the bank go in flames.

Second option, contact the any top government people and have them take care of it.

That bank employee really thinks he has a leverage :pacman:

There are comically evil villain characters and there are mega retarded villain characters. This is the second one.

This is something you IMMEDIATELY record lol. This man is making the worst mistake of his life especially since the dungeons are involved, he’s basically threatening the government/global wellbeing of Japan.
I half expect the golem upstairs "editing videos" will turn out to have been recording this conversation already.

i'm giing it 50/50 the MC goes along with this. might be just dumb enough
This has actually happened a few times in the manga and he usually has the MO of stamping these things down hard as long as it doesn't reveal himself. Two times he Hypnotized people into self destructing (one of which he basically robbed them and put them in perma-debt while doing so). The one with the shit heel students he made sure to get a confession to be sure his assumptions were right and then ripped out all their special powers because they were universally assholes to the point of committing criminal acts (he didn't really care until it escalated that far).

AT worst he's going to go "Okay, lets just get a bit more info before I ruin this guy's life and probably hypnotize him into jumping into a shark tank."

While something like this will probably happen it should be noted that irl large sum transfers of cash are automatically blocked in many countries without some sort of approval, it's usually higher than anyone but the super rich have to deal with but generally the bank will hold onto the money for like a week or two because a large cash transfer is usually a sign of crime. There's exceptions of course but it's usually the case.

How the fuck did that guy become a manager with only 3 brain cells?
Peter principle. People get promoted to one tier above their actual capabilities. He’s not actually good at being a manager but he was probably reasonably good at his previous position and got promoted for it. Since it comes with a pay raise he has no incentive to go back to what he’s best at.

I know Japanese banks are giant pains in the ass to deal with... but why would anyone think they could leverage themselves against billionaire customers?
From what I can Gather from reading the Novel, Since the dungeon show up.
Some People common sense is growing backwards.
Partly because of the world resource crysis and sudden appearance of magic. (Yeah, Since dungeon appeared, almost all Earth Natural resource like oil, gold, mineral, has disappear, being absorbed by dungeon to generate their reward.)

So, people that can't follow the new common sense(mostly ild people) and those who got drunk by power(mostly youngsters), became an idiot, like this man and MC former classmates(his childhood friend too).
There are more idiot that gonna show up in the future.

IF you think about it it kinda makes sense that a lot of people probably don't really grasp what Dungeons and the explorers are. This all went down like maybe less than a year ago, I don't think there's actually a lot of people who have the special power that the kids in the school have, and the vast majority of those who do have the power seem to be not all that strong, being like those assholes in the failed class who stick to low levels. From the perspective of most normal people there was a brief crisis of the worlds resources disappearing and these weird towers showing up that ended up getting resolved fairly quickly by just having some guys with some weird rare trait go in and stab slimes and goblins to gather the new oil. I wonder if the average person who doesn't explicitly follow dungeon related content even knows how inhumanly strong normal high level adventurers are let along how bullshit dangerous some of the shit in just the explored parts of the dungeon are.
