Ooh ooh another gratitude QTE
Yeah, but as a machine, she's basically a Fleshlight that can talk.Well, I would be terrified too, if a penis exploding STD was going around...
And didn't someone say in an earlier chapter, that he was doing it with Amagi? (off-screen ofc)
Nah, we need Amagi scene first.threesome! threesome! threesome with the legal wife!
When you go past the usual "evil" descriptions like murder and rape everything blurs, since what's evil for some is good for many. Liam's technically overtaxing his subjects and spends big amounts of money on a whim but since he lifted people out of poverty it's overlooked.I'd argue that short time preference should be part of the definition of evil. It's taking shortcuts to get what you want, consequences to others be damned. Long term evil plans can exist, but they always feel a lighter shade of gray than the short term ones. There's inherently some valor necessary to execute a long con.
well.... Banfield IS considered a fronteir world, and these dudes had their citizens in the fucking MEDIEVAL period, so yeah, frontier world=liam's worlds that are like an alien civilization of technology away from this.InSoviet RussiaHouse Banfield, girlfailures rise.
I get a feeling that 'frontier world' the children get sent to will still be infinitely better than even this one.
yeppers, thisInstead of it being a traditional Frontier World, it'll be a Banfield Frontier World, which means exceptional education, housing, food, stipend, and other high qualities of life, probably.
YOU EXPECT ME TO DINE ON THIS STRINGY MEAT!?Liam: "Ill make my citizens wealthier so I can get more tax revenue out of them."
Id vote for him.
I guess what I wrote wasn't very clear, what I meant was: "Liam himself can confess to the entire universe that he's evil, and show evidence of it all, and nobody would fucking care because they're already in his team".Even if he tried as hard as he can to reveal it, Liam would probably think something like: "Wow, the guide is trying to make me think that all this was achieved by my own efforts and that he didn't basically hand me everything on a stick? He's so humble and nice... also he's really bad at lying. If my Master was a fraud, then how could I possibly have followed The Way of the Flash?"
And a 2% higher tax rate than his core territories. (It's still lower than 90% of all planets because he's "playing the long game" except he forgets to raise the taxes)Instead of it being a traditional Frontier World, it'll be a Banfield Frontier World, which means exceptional education, housing, food, stipend, and other high qualities of life, probably.
Liam tells everyone he's evil. They all think it's just his weird sense of humor, not realizing that he's incapable of being cruel to people who don't deserve it. He has the potential, if he treated civilians they way he does pirates he would be the most hated man in existence.I feel like at this point, even if he exposes him to be the devil, everyone will just go with it.
Liam is at a point where he can point at the sky, and say "it's the ground", and his entourage will just nod and agree.
