He works on the manga with his partner but I don't know if they act as editor but full netorare isn't needed at all is she or isn't she a slut works fine as long as we don't cross that Rubicon. But that seems fashionable lately. Shame I like Luna as a character.
I meant the editor that gets assigned to them from the publisher that reviews the chapters before they publish it.

Ya it seems ntr is always pushed by the editors same the happened in I love you you who can love anyone the ntr was being pushed by the editor super market wanted to draw a proper threesome instead. At least naoto and luna aren't in a relationship at least. This is the authors longest work and I expect it to end around the late 30s or early 50s win the chapter count.

Yeah, there's been multiple occasions where an editor basically forced the author to take the story in a direction they never intended instead of letting the author just write and draw their own series.

I guess I'll just toss out another idea on what might be going on, since the "fantasy/supernatural" aspect still hasn't been shut down (also succubus bonus chapter).

It could be possible that what we're seeing is some kind of (sexual) condition that Luna has and she could normally manage it "on her own", but having Naoto around all the time is sending it into overdrive as they are constantly together and she sees him "as a man" and it's getting to the point where she might "attack" him. We also see that same wave of "smoke" as well that seems to be present every time she gets "worked up". So she might be looking for a "victim" before she goes after Naoto.

It could be that she almost "attacked" Naoto in the last year she was in their home town as that would of probably been right around the time she would have been getting into puberty and that's part of the reason she never went back to their home town.

It could also explain why his mother never told him anything as he would have forgotten/doesn't remember and didn't want to bring up something that could be traumatic to him.

Edit: I guess the simplest and most straightforward answer about the app could be that she is the one who made it and it was left open as more bait.

Yeah, I like your idea about the app, ultimately, I don't see this crossing the threshold into actual NTR, it will just remain bait/teasing stuff that will eventually stop when the truth comes out.

Possibly. I'm just hoping the next chapter isn't going to end up being Naoto seeing Luna out on a date and/or getting home and catching them in the act. That would pretty much kill this one for me permanently, as the only real reaction to that would be for Naoto to just pack his shit and leave.

That's my worry as well, i don't want to see this series develop that way

You took my words out of my mouth. Getting someone banned for "snipping" and then not translating the manga is damn foul move

If the group's MangaUpdates page is to be believed, then RS didn't release the newer chapters, or anything really, even in their very own website since the start of June, that's two months out of the "standard" three-months time window.

I'd understand if the delay was due to IRL stuff, and the plan was to mass release with uncensored chapters when volume 5 comes out to make up for it, but time IS ticking.

Tbf, this wasn't the only series that got mtl sniped by that very same group, saying that one specific group is solely responsible for getting someone banned for sniping is just tactless.

Well, pretty much the only way I can see Naoto seeing Luna out on a date with someone without it going into that territory is if the app is actually for some kind of compensated dating (not prostitution), and one of her secrets is that she's been doing compensated dating since she was in middle school and when people found out is when they started calling her a slut.

It's probably a real stretch, but with how unpredictable things have become at this point, who knows any more.

Compensated dating is japanese prostitution. Is the way they do it over there, if she is doing that then it is confirmed she is a whore

It's a legally distinct parody of an actual matchmaking/dating app called happymail, you can download it from your phone's app store (the real app, not the parody) assuming you're in the region. There are cases of people using the real-life app for compensated dating purposes, I should know, a former co-worker of mine used it for mama-katsu on top of our then part-time job.

If my theory about her voluntarily disappearing to protect Naoto from herself is correct, and adding to Luna's seeming insistence to being Naoto's "Big Sis", as normal society dictates. Her dependency on Naoto renders her unable to stay in a stable relationship with other men, with them somehow reminding her of her father who went out to get milk, and she eventually falls back to Naoto every single time, with the frequency of her trying and failing to keep a single guy ending up being the catalyst to the rumours about her. One could argue that Naoto effectively NTRs all her prospective boyfriends/lovers simply by existing.

I reckon Luna is feeling the pressure of Alabama Naoto's advance closing in on her, and her move now is an effort for her to keep being Naoto's "Big Sis".

Hiba appearing would be great as a support for the next chapter, as she likely would know what the readers and Naoto wants know about Luna's personal relationships.

Thanks to getting dragged into a few goukon by the former co-worker that I mentioned earlier, I can say from observation and experience that I can both confirm AND deny this statement. Not every encounter ends with a "happy ending". It's a coin toss most of the time really, and it relies completely on the other party. How open they are, how desperate they are (more likely with runaway teens with no income, less likely with actual working adults), and how much you're willing to pay up are all factors in determining which ending you're going to get.

More often than not, you're just getting a new drinking buddy. :haa:

Kinda scam is that. Pay for a prostitute to get a handshake and the bill to pay

Because legally speaking, you're not getting a prostitute with compensated dating. You're getting exactly what it says on the tin. You're essentially getting paid/paying someone for a date, anything else afterwards is just bonus. Rental Boy/Girlfriends are effectively the "organized" version of the exact same thing.

If you want an actual prostitute, you'd have to wander around Kabukichou and look for a suspicious line of young women just standing there... menacingly.

Sounds like virginity with extra steps. Go pay a prostitute. Empty your balls and you won't be thinking about any of that.

If only the reality of Loneliness and Depression in Japan is that simple and gets resolved just as easily... most rentals transactions are primarily for companionship, despite what doujinshis tend to portray.

If it's just taking care of one's libido then yes, folks will just straight up visit Kabukichou at night and pay for services.

I've never been on the paying side myself however, as I usually just get dragged into goukons just to make up the numbers. Again, I've witnessed this first hand, a good majority of the ladies that I personally encountered just wanted someone to listen to their woes while having drinks, some of which for some reason, actually turned out to be involved in similar (soap/health deli/etc.) businesses, who were just glad to have male company that aren't after their services.

It's not actually all that abnormal for dating sites/apps to be used for that even in my part of the world. I don't have any first or second hand experience with it though.

It's also possible that a lot of the men she tried dating were just trying to sleep with her (especially horny teens), and she would end the relationship after realizing, or finding out. We've already seen first hand that she will put a stop to it even if she's "worked up".

We still need to find out what degree of separation they actually are, or if they are. It's a pretty common troupe for the "we're family, but we're not actually related", but that's another thing to dive in to later. ......I also kind of hate that I now know you can marry you first cousins in my country as well...... along with other family members (wtf, seriously).

I'm not even sure if Hiba would help to resolve the situation, as most people would feel it's not their place to reveal their friends secrets. Although we still don't know what she actually did to/with him or told him about when she was introduced (aside from toying with him a bit).

If only the reality of Loneliness and Depression in Japan is that simple and gets resolved just as easily... most rentals transactions are primarily for companionship, despite what doujinshis tend to portray.

Pretty much summed up what I was going to say about the entire thing.

As far as I know, most of the "dates" are a prearranged agreement where set the conditions before and most are just lonely people looking for some form of companionship. Some are also sexual, but that's also something that is arranged beforehand as well. (for compensated dating, not "rentals". Since as far as I know, "rentals" are completely "intimacy" free.)

I'm probably going to be out in Japan some time next year on vacation, unless I can convince my work to send me out there next time we get a service call and go sooner (on the companies tab). It should be interesting to see a lot of things first hand.

Edit: Huh, I just realized how weird it sounds adding that at the end of this post.

Anyway guys i'm only riding this train until we see the revelation if she's a whore or not. Seems likely that she is.
To be fair, I'm sure a lot of people are going to drop this if it ends up being true.

I'm not sure if this is the intended way he planned things out or not, but it really seems like Suga forgot about the comedy, as there hasn't really been any lately.

I'm really not going to be surprised if the next chapter actually is Naoto seeing Luna out on a date and/or walking in on them in the act and he ends up moving out of the apartment after having his soul crushed. Which will just be an instant drop from me, since I'm not into that kind of crap in manga.

I'm still holding some faith that Luna won't cross that line with another guy, if things go that way I will probably keep reading anyway, if nothing else but to see how worst it can get.
