I'm still holding some faith that Luna won't cross that line with another guy, if things go that way I will probably keep reading anyway, if nothing else but to see how worst it can get.

I'm more or less trusting that Suga is going to stick to the tags and is just doing insane levels of baiting, as none of his previous works go deep into anything disgusting like that. I'm more or less thinking of the worst case scenario if he actually does go full send into it.

I do have a hard time believing it will go that way, as we've already seen from another series, it can and will immediately tank the series and get it put on the chopping block instantly.

I don't think I'll ever understand authors who do that to their characters, or people who absolutely love that kind of stuff. I fully support all of the backlash they get for it, but I don't support the people who turn it into straight up harassment.

I'll do you one better the mc sees the fmc kissing another guy, runs away fuck the gyaru, timeskip, they end the manga with both of them alone

Pretty sure he would just go to Kawashina, since she already made an offer for him to "stay over" way back in the earlier chapters.

I'm probably just going to drop this again until the first book comes out in english, and if it's gone full send into garbage, or if there's still no progress, I might just leave this one until it's done and just read it all in one go. I'd like to support the english release, but I'm here for a spicy rom-com, not some kind of weird kind of, but not really ntr lite where the MC gets emotionally abused for no reason.

Katsura-sensei got a track record for it, and with her most (in)famous work getting serialized with a "tamer" version of the original doujin possibly clouding her assessment of how wide one's audience becomes after serialization, she probably thought the same shit that worked with KaraZaka would fly for a wider range of audience with an original work that didn't have KaraZaka's original audience's backing. What's more surprising is how it even managed to get past the "Editor check" before getting the chapter green lit for publishing. Her Editor should also be in the hot seat for letting the chapter out as it did in the first place.

Contrast with Takeda-sensei's works under/as Shinjugai (XX-tama 'series', etc.)and as Takeda Hiromitsu (Maken-Ki!, Tsundero, etc.). Now this is an author who knows when NOT TO PULL THE NTRigger. It's simple, really.

If the work is under Shinjugai (which would be written in kanji on the cover or the back), that's hell you're going into, if it isn't and he's still the sole author then it's likely not hell you're going into.

I fucking HOPE not lol.
While I'm on the topic of "Track Record", imagine chapter 25.1 releasing 9 hours later (as of writing) and saying the next release (25.2) would be the last. The story gets rushed and everything is resolved either post ending or immediately on the early half of the chapter.

This is Suga "Short Stories" Atsushi we're talking about here, and this is one of his longer ones, if not the longest running work so far.

Let's just hope that I really am NOT The Messiah Oracle.

To be fair all he does now is NTR and by his own admission he's unable to do anything else anymore, pen name be damned. He literally passed a script and basically complete storyboard he had mothballed years ago onto another h-manga artist because he (almost physically) couldn't bring himself to work on vanilla again.

So with Arir she did an interview where she said it was her editor that suggested the story go in the direction it went. You would have thought she would have seen guilty circle do it lose half its audience and thought better. Supermarkt rewrote ch 36 because he would have had to end his story shortly after that plus he wanted to draw a threesome which is funny because it should have had a threesome with agawa the teacher and goutu followed by one with agawa her sister and the teacher ending with goutu being NTR'D. That was also pushed by his editor. As for maken-ki it was his editor who kept him from NTRing the mc over and over again. So it really seems editors have a lot of control over where a story goes in manga.

Here's hoping we don't get netorare here in quirky girl would be a first for this author but there is a first for everything.
Plus I'm pretty sure we will get a hiatus announcement instead of a new chapter.

I was only ever reading grapara in passing every now and then, but I could tell nothing good was ever going to come from that series. It really doesn't surprise me that Katsura is someone who would pull that kind of crap with a published series and expecting to not get a bad reaction from it.

If you're going to write some ntr trash, just write a doujin, don't get people invested into a story and then shit all over you MC after getting your audience cheering for them to "win" (this goes for Suga as well).

I honestly can't see this ending in any satisfying way if that actually happens, and that would also be pretty disappointing, especially since we still have no confirmation on who the third girl in the photo is.

I'm not sure how this one is doing on ratings right now, but all I've seen is some people getting frustrated with the pacing and nothing that looks like it's going to end up on the chopping block (that could change really quick depending on how the next chapter goes). I'm not sure if any of his other series got cancelled or not, but I do remember seeing something in the one series about how he seemed to have had to wrap it up quicker than he wanted to, but was somewhat satisfied with how he ended it.

I'm still going to be dipping out on this one for a while, unless I hear about something positive happening, as I'm just tired of the bait and I only came back to this one because I was confused when some asshole decided to get the "Mature" and "Sexual Violence" tag added to this series.

Kind of shows how writing ntr is just poison that fucks your creativity.

Suga pretty much just deals in weird, but not overly disgusting fetishes, so I'm still holding on to hope that he doesn't go down the dark path, as I'd also lose a lot of respect for them if they do.

I'm almost kind of hoping that this series is just Suga trolling the ntr lovers and baiting them into reading something that gets a happy ending and frustrates them.

I guess I'll drop these here if anyone is looking for something with similar themes, just less ntr bait.

Otonari no Oneesan ni Arekore sareru - DO NOT read the last chapter in public.

Itoko no Onee-chan ni Amaechau? - Probably not safe for public consumption for some chapters.

Ane no Tomodachi - This one is safe.

Yup, read that one, classic early vanilla Takeda vibes. Shunichi took over for that one, iirc. The artist for S-Rank adventurer's father-con daughters.

And where did it lead Takeda? Back to doujins-only land, heck even his newer works are slop compared to his last Shinjugai stuff.

Didn't stop him from being able to do non-NTR non-H works tho', like that konosuba one.

Bakuman showed readers that Editors are often the unsung heroes of the publishing world. A good one can make you a star, a bad one can send you to a downward spiral.

Break week this week to work on the comic, which means volume 5 is being worked on.
