Until now all her secrets have been rather dumb shit. "I masturbate" and "I like sexy lingerie" I think those were the first two screens, can't remember which one was the third. But the author is seriously going to tell us she jumped from that to "I use this app to meet-and-fuck with random guys" already on her fourth secret?
Then what is supposed to be her remaining secrets?
She prostitutes herself? Has she aborted? Was she raped in her childhood...?
It doesn't make sense, does it? Just the fourth secret seems rather bad for the standard of what had been mostly a regular romcom, and the author can't possibly make the remaining secrets go back to being harmless things. It just wouldn't make narrative sense. The whole point of the secrets would be to have them escalate so each one seems to be "worst" or more important than the previous one.
So theres a high chance that, like before, Luna is being an idiot and making MC misunderstanding and believe the whole thing is worst than it really is and she isn't actually sleeping around but doing something more harmless she still feels guilty about.
But again... At this point Im rather pissed at the author and her anyway.

Thinking about it out of frustration, and all Im going to say is kind of coping, kind of trying to make sense of this whole mess...
First, we know Luna has been uncomfortably horny since MC moved with her. So it wouldn't be weird that the whole sex buddy app is actually something she got very recently, wanting to deal with it in the most retarded way possible. Also, because before this arc, we never saw any implication that she already had the app or was meeting with random people. There's a big chance this was the first time she was trying to use the app. (And yes, we have seen her presumingly kissing with someone unknown at home once, but if she seemingly already had a fuckbudy at her room once, why inviting this one to an hotel?).
So I think she truly invited this random guy to fuck using the app, and regretted when she actually met him, going the rest of the night drinking possibly by herself.
She never mentions it to MC -that she didn't had sex with the guy- because she feels guilty that she even tried doing it in the first place. Preferring to omit the detail thinking it would be for the best if MC misunderstands and decides to stop pursuing her.

EXACTLY! the way you think is the same like me, and i did cope the same like yours.
1. About matching app usage in latest chapter is very weird. Knowing and assuming in early chapters as her secrets, but turned out matchibg app was introduced in very late chapter.
2. If she have a FWB invited in her room before, why bother coming to love hotel for it? She can make it clear tonao that torn condom is from her FWB doing it in her room.
3. She can feel guilty and regret while in hotel room. Thats why she said "If i can still stay by Nao side as his Luna-nee, all i have to do is get rid of these desire(for sex with strangers) and ended up in hotel alone, and maybe even continue her solo thing alone because her brain flooded with nao alone.
4. I KNOW RIGHT??!! the first secret was her pleasuring herself, and suddenly jumped to 4th secret which is way worst like if she truly having sex with strangers through matching app...What could be the remaining secrets? plain secrets or MAYBE EVEN FAR WORSE than having sex. I also think the same like you if whether she got r*ped at child. Thats why she became all like this.
5. Again, If she TRULY did it with other people, thats the main case in chapter 25 she said in her head "i hope nao is asleep already, because damn i can't even face him and look in his eyes." It filled with guilty. But it still can be related to your opinion because nao saw her phone opening dating app and came to hotel. Since she got caught having matching app that may be the cause she feel shy and dont even brave to face nao while coming home late.

I might be a lil weird but, the fact nao confronted her coming home late night, she also strangled her legs. For usual people might thing she did it too hard with other people until her legs become weak. OR!! because she was panicking about getting caught coming home late and couldn't confess that everytime she think about nao she gets hot, she rushed to move in panic and strangled her legs and almost fall.

Again, the tags is "Devoted Girl" but if this is the route author chose then tis gon be the worst character development or heroine.

The author closed their comments section on twitter too, regarding this latest chapter. In my opinion ther is STILL EXIST a chance it's misunderstandings, BUT THE CHANCE ARE VERY SLIM, knowing all she did was very vulgar. That can meam the author trying to input ntr material to bait readers reactions, if lots are disappointed, they might change allat happened. It's all depends on the author decision whether to make this as turntables or ruining the manga like this way and go for ntr and betrayal route.

I'm going to blunt in my assessment of what's going on with this series now.

Going outside of the story itself for the time being, I think Atsushi is going to have no choice but to backtrack or face cancellation. This is thrown out if this is something he planned in advance and already has the second halves story laid out to repair the damage.

The biggest thing we see with this development is what is being pointed out the most, even on the Japanese side, is the betrayal of the tags. Nothing in the tags indicates that this story would devolve into these themes, betraying the expectations of the long time readers and completely alienating the audience that it built up. After that, the series just loses it's identity as the long time readers leave and it loses it core support, leaving it as a series with no audience. If this was marketed as something like Domestic Girlfriend or Rent a Girlfriend or even that other flaming pile of trash, it would be one thing, but it was never marketed as that. I'm sure you could make the argument of "BuT dIn'T yOu ReAd ThE dEsCrIpTiOn!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!" no one read that with the expectation of being exposed to that kind of crap, especially when combine with THE TAGS. The description reads like the basic outline for an ECCHI ROM-COM, which is what we were sold.

I'm not going to lie, this development actually feels like editor interference that fucked up everything.

Going into the story itself now.

If the story stays true to the path it seems to be on, it undermines everything and makes all progress pointless.

If Luna has been using the dating app the entire time, so many things that have happened go from harmless misunderstanding, into straight up abhorrent behaviour.

The condom wrapper goes from "that sure looks like a condom wrapper" To Luna leaving an open condom wrapper laying around when she knows her cousin is coming to live with her.

The kiss at the door can now be viewed as her bringing over a guy to have sex while Naoto is in the other room and can hear them and she did it because she thought he couldn't hear them.

The phone call when Naoto was sick was from someone from the dating app, and while Luna doesn't lie about it, she completely twists her words and tells Naoto that she doesn't have a "lover" while she hides it.

We then get to the beach resort where Naoto defends Luna about the slut rumours, making him look like a fucking idiot if it's actually true.

Now we get to the point where she got caught using the dating app and everything comes crashing down and Naoto is locked into a stupid fucking promise about not hating her no matter what. All of this would be a completely justified reason to hate her, promise or not.

It also makes it worse when everything points to none of the other girls getting a fair shot as every single cover has been Luna, making it seem like the others aren't even viable love interests any more.

I'll give it until the end of the year or less for this one to get axed if it doesn't turn things around. Which is a damn shame because the art is fantastic and the story and characters are actually fun and interesting, not to mention that it's Atsushis first English release.

Yeah, it specially pisses me off because it doesn't make sense why she would act or think that way.
Sure, it's probably related to one of her secrets, possibly the reason that when she was a teenager there were bad rumors about her that caused her to distance from MC. My theory, I think she probably rejected further advances from a guy her age (the one she appeared to be kissing in a flashback) because she already had feelings for MC (who was a small kid at the time) and not only she felt guilty but possibly the guy created those bad rumors about her being a slut or something.
But whatever the reason, it's clear she idealizes that whole dumb status quo of her being the older sister figure to Nao, and feels like dating him would ruin it, even though she desperately wants MC and he wants her too.
Which is what pisses me off the most, because even though those memories are also special for MC, he still wants their relationship to evolve. She is the only one stupidly sticking to the past for no known reason.
And it shouldn't be just fear of rejection because MC has been thinking she was sleeping around since they met again, and if he didn't reject her about it before, then I don't see what possible secret she could have that makes her fear he wouldn't want her anymore.
