I might need to reread am I the only one thinking Ozuno is fighting himself and he's originally from that time period. was the youngest we saw him in chapter 12? (although any incongruities can be waved away with god hax if the author wants to take it that direction anyway

I think the implication that it's Ozuno's son. The Ozuno from this time has already turned into Kozumi.

more likely son- hence miyo calling him hiroi-chan (which would be rude if he wasn't younger than her) on page 31, we've seen future ozuno in chapter 1 and 5, and he clearly looks older

The kid has Ozuno's face and Tarume's bangs, too.

Given Miyo's reaction I'm thinking the author hasn't abandoned the "Koizumi is future Ozuno" line, but I wonder just how far into the future would that be; since they've already moved 30 years forward and they don't seem to think they're the same person, it'd probably take place much much farther into the future.
