If he gets sealed back into the void I don't see how he'd remain sane.

I mean, tbf a dude who all of a sudden comes out of nowhere and is able to guide you through everything like he somehow knows everything, knows of your secret skill that only the fewest of people know, and knows exactly how to utilize your skill to defeat the demon kin, and so on, you'd at least have listen seriously to what he's saying and take it seriously instead of a joke.
